Author has written 3 stories for Ghost Rider, Evil Dead/Army of Darkness, Jurassic Park, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Hello all who were fortunate (or is it unfortunate?) to have stumbled upon the burgeoning works of moi. For any who found my small list of credits (thus far) and were mortified, please forgive me, as I'm in the process of figuring out my craft. Plus, my imagination is sometimes stuffed to the gills with ideas, and I just can't figure out how to translate them into written (or typed) out words. That said, I'm a major movie lover (and that DEFINITELY includes classics). I'm a moderate fan of Horror (mostly old school, like Universal Monsters, Hammer Films, etc.). Probably the last great decade (IMO) for the genre was the 80's, though some good stuff trickled into the 90's. My rule is that if it gives me nightmares or is genuinely disturbing, it ceases to be entertaining. I favor atmosphere, and getting an eerie feeling. I LOVE Fantasy films, like those done by Ray Harryhausen, Star Wars, etc. Not super into Harry Potter or LOTR, but I'm a casual fan. I like the idea of pure imagination that doesn't have to be explained away by science, which can often times be too cold and mechanical. That said, I do like Sci-Fi, but mostly the kind that involves some misbegotten creature on the loose, or homicidal AI (Terminator for the win!). Anything that features a threatening central antagonist of the extraterrestrial, cybernetic, prehistoric, or radioactive variety is right up my alley. That's not to say I don't mind stories about time & space travel, or more provocative science fiction subjects, but I gravitate towards the creature features far more. I also REALLY enjoy superheroes, not just from the "Big Two" comic companies (Marvel & DC), but also several others. Does that mean I'm a big comic book fan? Not really, though I went on a spending frenzy awhile back and bought a bunch of titles featuring a lot of wacky, and several obscure, characters. Most of which were supposed to serve as inspiration for my writing (give the underdogs a shot). I tend to be more of a cartoon and film fan in regards to the funny book lot. With all that said and done, my goal here is to publish fanfics that feature various crossovers I cooked up in my head, as well as altered variations on the events of TV shows and movies I like that I wasn't entirely satisfied with. Sometimes I'll even write out sequels to stories and movies that never got any. So you know, basic fan-fiction stuff. ;) And that, for now, is me trying my hand at a profile. Enjoy everyone! :) |
