Also, I've read the original version of this, The Archives, and had been thinking on how they were trying to find scrap metal for whatever it was they were gonna build. Then I watched a couple episodes of Beast Wars season 3, and figures the rest of the Maximal ship is probably still underwater.

I don't think they could have fit almost the whole of the Axalon in the little escape craft or whatever it is they used to leave earth. Not to mention that Primal's crew no longer had anyone who could go underwater and drag it up.

While the Axalon is indeed a hunk of scrap by now, it's a freaken huge hunk of scrap.

Just thought i'd throw that little idea out there.

WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG TO WRITE?(TTTT) I'M DYING FROM THE ANTICIPATION PLEASE UPDATE SOON! BTW when you finally get to the part of Depth Charge and his team getting to Cybertron why not put them into a different area than Optimus Primal and his team yet still fighting Megatron, oh, and the femme that you said you were going to add in the old version of this is able to access the Oracle but not have the connection that Primal and Megatron has. Heck I'll let you use the two Femme OCs that I made up a while back (neither of them has been in any nor will be in any story other than in my head (I'm more the reader than writer thank you)) but please do give me credit for being their creator and you are only allowed to use them in this fan story. So now I give you Treble Flare and Dark Ice.

Bio: Treble Flare's a descendant of Sky Fire and is very much a sweet natured pacifist as her ancestor was, but is extremely loyal to those she considers family as well as friends and won't hesitate to attack in order to protect them, due to the fact that her real creators had been killed when a serial killer broke into their home and attacked the small family when she was a small youngling and couldn't help them, she swore from that day on she would become stronger in order to never have something so tragic happen again to herself or anyone she became friends with. So as she had been shipped from orphanage to orphanage she learned self-defence and how to take out bots larger than herself. Then when she was about around Cheetor's age she had wanted to go off world in order to start a new life, and she jumped at the chance when the Axelon had been loading Protoform X and had been able to sneak on and after she had programmed an empty protoform capsule and got into it that was the last memory she had before she lost consciousness. Though she has lived a rough life after her creators died, she is able to look ahead to the future and be positive about her life despite the circumstances, so thus because of her past and mellow personality Depth Charge and Rampage have taken a bit of a platonic shine to her. Also, despite her age and size (she's a little bigger than Rattrap) she has a mean left hook, also she is very smart and prefers to listen and look at the whole problem before she gives advice to help or take action, and mostly serves as a mediator within the team. Her beast mode is a Barn Swallow.

Bio: Now Dark Ice on the other servo is quite temper-mental, often speaks her mind before thinking of the repercussions of her words, usually has authority issues, and often has a hard time being part of the team. She's around the same age as Depth Charge and Rampage. She is very cynical and harsh sometimes with her outlook on life, and like Night Scream, she survived Megatron's virus and has lived underground since then. Not much of her past is known to her new teammates and she rather prefers to keep it that way. And although she has a tough exterior she does have softer side that peeks through once in a blue moon. Quick Strike sees this as a challenge and tries to win her affections and fails more often than not, but Dark Ice although she gives the outward appearance of disinterest she secretly finds it a little sweet of him to do so. Her beast mode is a brown bear.

I hope you enjoy what I put down, and I'm sorry that if Dark Ice's bio may be somewhat lacking due to the fact I tended to flesh out Treble Flare's background more often than not because Treble Flare is my first OC, but if you wish to add more to Dark Ice's bio then by all means go ahead. I don't think you quite understand the lengths of my relief and joy in knowing that you're starting this story back up again. I was concerned when I noticed the lack of updates, but seeing this brought a smile to my face.

On one hand I am so super happy to see this updated again, on the other I am sad about the lack of DC/Rampage. But I understand that it prolly would turn away alot of people sadly.

The fic, I felt the chapter came together better and alot smoother then the first version. Also X's spark realization was more intelligent and "informed" this time around, I think I like it better this way.

Anyways even with the lack of DC/Rampage in the story I look forward to it, its a interesting story.

There are still a few BW stories that come in. I've added several to the C2 lately. But you're right in that they don't seem to come with great frequency anymore.

That said, nicely done here.

I like where your going with this. I admit That Beast Machines could have gone better, though I'm happy to know that there are people willing to express thier want to change things and show how they would do it. I am liking what your doing right now and I will wait to see more. I have to say I like the direction your taking with Rampage right now, its intriging. I do wonder though

since your bringing back fallen charaters from the Beast Wars are you planning on bringing anyone else back? Like Quikstrike and Inferno? Or Ravage and Tarantulus?

I don't really care much for Beast Machines but I rejoiced when I heard you were rewriting this. Yeah this is a better beginning and even though I liked the original I can't wait until you update

Oh yeah, I like that, that's a great opening; it gives the characters back on ancient earth a bit more importance than the original story did. I rather fancy the idea of Primal being aware of their presence on earth, gives it a nice touch for some reason. But yeah, this is definitely something I'm looking forward to and I eagerly await your next update. C;
