(The Dawn Has Arrived has been discontinued. Feedback has made me realize that I need to do better, so I'm exploring other ideas.)

As you've probably noticed from my stories and poll, my main shtick is League of Legends, but I also like Overwatch. I also dig ships. Here are my favorites, starting with my absolute favorite (the rest aren't numbered in any particular order, though):

Jarvan IV x Shyvana: This is probably my die-hard, all-time favorite ship, for several reasons. First, I actually first became familiar with League of Legends by stumbling across a fan comic done on Shyvana's backstory on 9gag. It's been a while since I was last on that site, but that isn't important. I just ended up becoming fascinated with Shyvana's lore, and her character in general. Then I did a bit of research, and slowly accumulated more knowledge about LoL in general. Once I did that, I immediately began to support Shy x J4. I think that this ship is most likely canon for several reasons:

1. Jarvan was the first human that ever showed Shyvana kindness and respect instead of cruelty, which would probably leave a very big impression on her.

2. As an extension of the first point, Jarvan also offered her a home when she had nowhere else to go.

3. Shyvana's personality, in my opinion, is really attractive. I think that Jarvan would want a woman that could keep up with him on just about every single level in terms of fighting ability. Quinn doesn't really fit with him (sorry Quinn x J4 shippers), from what I've seen. I mean, really, does Jarvan actually want to compete with a bird for Quinn's affections? That's just demeaning.

4. Shyvana's story is directly tied in with Jarvan's, same as with Garen and Katarina. That typically tends to indicate a romantic relationship, or at least the potential for one.

5. Shyvana is smoking hot. Literally. Fire's her whole shtick.

Sure, Shy might not be a noble, but Jarvan doesn't seem like the kind of person to care about that little detail. Actually, Shyvana would do more for the Lightshield bloodline than anyone else. Think about it: if Shyvana was to marry Jarvan, then from that point on, all of their descendants would have dragon's blood coursing through their veins. Now that's badass.

Garen x Katarina: My second favorite ship, absolutely. I love the whole "star-crossed lovers" thing, but I still hope that these two get their happy ending eventually. Riot's already hinted several times that they're secretly seeing each other (look at the art for the Dino Gnar skin as an example). Plus, as a couple they're just so damn cute. It's just really fun to ship them. Illaoi's interactions with the two also serve as a definite hint. Look them up on the LoL Wiki; I'm too lazy to go ahead and post them right now. Maybe some other time. Besides, Garen would be a fool to deny 'dem hips, especially when they've got that sexy tattoo on one side. I mean, WOW. Garen isn't going to find another women like that for the rest of his life. Katarina Crownguard also has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

I actually have an idea as to what their son would be like. I think that his name would be Gabriel. It sounds fitting. He basically has Garen's eyes and a darker shade of Kat's hair, albeit cut to resemble his father's hairstyle, just a tad bit longer. As for his skills, I actually think he'd use a katana, and be known as "The Blademaster." This idea came from the fact that his mother and father's fighting styles are drastically different, and would lead to him trying to figure out which one he wanted to use, especially since they both want him to learn their respective skills. Gabriel eventually seeks out Yasuo, who teaches him the way of the samurai. The katana sounds appropriate because it's the perfect blend of Garen's strength and durability coupled with Katarina's speed and agility. Both of them would most likely be satisfied with their son's choice. Gabriel would have abilities based off those of his parents, such as Katarina's Shunpo and Garen's Judgement, albeit with slight variations on each one.

His ult would be titled "Blade Storm," which is exactly what it sounds like. This technique was created from learning Yasuo's wind techniques. Basically it's a hurricane of wind blades so sharp that they can cut through just about anything. That's enough about Garen x Kat from me.

Quinn x Talon: This one is mainly because they just make an amusing couple, and the banter between these two would be hilarious. Mainly consists of Talon calling Quinn "Pretty Bird" and Quinn getting flustered. Sure, I may have said that J4 shouldn't have to compete with a bird for Quinn earlier, but Talon more-or-less looks like a vulture/falcon, so with luck, Quinn wouldn't notice the difference.

Lux x Ezreal: This one I'm not as invested in as the others, but I still like it nonetheless. They seem cute, so what the heck, why not?

Ezreal x Nami: This is my alternative option to Lux x Ezreal. Ezreal's an explorer, so I think he'd love the chance to meet a Marai. Nami would probably like how interested Ezreal is in her species and culture, and the two of them would hit it off pretty well in my opinion. SO FIGHT ME! I WILL DEFEND THIS SHIP TO THE DEATH, ALONG WITH MY OTP SHY X J4! BRING IT, FOOLS!

Darius x Fiora: I mostly just ship this out of intrigue. It's kinda neat to think about. In some bizarre way, I could see this working.

Aatrox x Kayle: Because irony is a sweet, sweet thing indeed.

Ashe x Tryndamere: Sure, their marriage might only be for "political reasons," but let's be honest, fellow shippers: that's a whole lotta bullshit. I think that things would start out awkwardly between them, but Ashe would eventually warm up to the big lug. Tryndamere seems like the kind of guy who's ferocious in combat but a downright sweetheart off the battlefield. Plus, he's got shredded abs and huge pecs. Those sound hard to resist from a lady's perspective.

Sejuani x Olaf: Nothing more romantic than a pair of stubborn meatheads making eyes at each other, right?

Braum x Lissandra: Just 'cause I feel like it. And honestly, if anyone could melt Lissandra's frozen heart, it'd be everyone's favorite mustache-bearing softie. FIGHT ME!

Riven x Yasuo: Irony truly is delicious, isn't it? And these two are cute together.

Pantheon x Leona: I don't give a damn about Riot's new lore, I still love this couple! And regardless, even with the new lore I still think these two have potential.

Shen x Akali: Casual shipping, not nearly as serious as the others.

Zed x Syndra: I would be a bigger fan of this (don't get me wrong, I still am) if Zed was a more sympathetic character. Frankly, he's just a plain dick in the lore. Syndra I feel bad for, because she was feared for her power even though she initially didn't harbor any ill will towards Ionia. First rule of eliminating potential threats, ladies and gentlemen: don't make the first move. In fact, be nice to them. I swear, Syndra's lore is the equivalent of poking a bear with a cattle prod and wondering why it mauled you afterwards.

Draven x Himself: Need I explain myself?

And I do believe that's just about it in terms of ships. I can't do any with Sona, Ahri and Miss Fortune because there aren't any champions that fit with their personalities yet. If they create a champion that's based off a rockstar, then I'll put him with Sona. Ahri would require...dunno, and Sarah needs the "dashing rogue" kinda guy.

Overwatch Ships:

Mercy76: My OTP for Overwatch. If you require an explanation, a friend of mine, Xavirne, has plenty of stories to offer such. Sure, there's a massive age difference between them, but Jack's a super-soldier. He's more fit than top soldiers in their thirties. He actually looks around thirty, save for the hair and scars. I think that Angela is someone who wouldn't care about age, so long as they were the kind of guy she was looking for. And I'm sure you're familiar with Dad: 76 (or as I like to call him, CommanDad) and Mom Mercy. They fit the roles of Team Mom and Dad pretty well, so why not?

McPharah (But recent fics and posts on Tumblr are calling it High Justice): This one's cute. McCree also learned how to shoot from Ana, so it only makes sense that he'd interact with her daughter.

Bastion x Orisa: BECAUSE I CAN.

Favorite Disney Movie: ALADDIN, OBVIOUSLY! FIGHT ME! ROBIN WILLIAMS WAS AMAZING!

Favorite Superheroes: Tied for Batman and Spider-Man

Favorite Batman: Ben Affleck (sue me, he fought like a beast in BvS)

Favorite Spider-Man: Tom Holland (he absolutely nailed it in Civil War)

Favorite Food: Cheeseburgers (yet I'm still thin as a twig)

Favorite Drink: Chocolate Milk (I'm a chocoholic, and proud of it. Chocolate Milk = AWESOMENESS)

Favorite Movies: Lego Movie and Lego Batman Movie

Favorite Videogames: Titanfall 2, League of Legends, Destiny and Overwatch

Favorite Commercials: Old Spice commercials with Terry Crews
