Reviews for Forever Together
tetraforce theory chapter 21 . 1/3/2019
I don't quite recall when I bookmarked this, but I was sure whoever had been writing 'The Strength of Courage' could also write a fantastic post Twilight Princess story as well. I was not disappointed. This was a welcome respite from all my other reading. I especially enjoyed fleshed out OC's, and how you further fleshed out canon personalities. One thing you did that I never considered was Midna having the sharp teeth like Zant. I like the concept, thought her teeth did appear smooth in the little dialogue she had in her true form.

Boy, I hadn't watched the ending for Twilight Princess in probably 6 years 'I'll have to check the Wii later for an exact date', and it did a number on me to watch Midna leave at the end.

I should probably get an hour or two of sleep before I have to be up XD. Thank you truly for making me appreciate Twilight Princess again, odd that this story did it when I've been reading TSoC for so long.
Mazongian chapter 21 . 8/6/2018
After rereading this story, I still adore it. You built this world outside of Hyrule so well and made everyone feel like actual, fully fleshed out people, and that is so hard to do.

I love this story man, and I always will. A true masterpiece of fanfiction
Leaf Ranger chapter 21 . 6/18/2018
Well I have to say that this fanfic was really incredible. An excellent job! I loved seeing Link grow into a fine leader like that, it was very well done.

I know of almost hope to see a sequel to this fanfic, one where the light and twilight realms finally can reconnect, and then the misadventures that come from that. Would be quite interesting, I think, if you felt inclined to do that.

I'm a bit hesitant to read Peacekeepers. I'll admit I snuck a peek at the ending and while I'm happy they're together, not as happy that they're being punished in what I consider a cruel and unusual manner for them. Guess we'll see, I suppose, if I get around to reading it.

Keep up the awesome work!

hakon2feb chapter 21 . 8/17/2017
Hi again.
Even if the first few chapters weren't your own, i greatly enjoyed this story as well.
I was almost expecting that the humans would be treated as outcasts to the end after reading the title of the last chapter. However, i guess with the humans being able to use shadow magic, they had more in common with the twili than the humans in the light realm. Not to mention a ruler and her husband who are actively working to integrate themselves into the new world. I'm glad things worked out in the end :)
Keep up the good work, and i guess i'll be reading "The Strength of Courage" in a bit :p

Sindrisuncatcher chapter 10 . 3/13/2017
My friend did the same thing to me except I got $500 for giving him advice on which team to bet on. Felt so awkward I tried giving it back and he pushed it into my shirt pocket and ran.
JLdark chapter 1 . 12/13/2016
It seem I found an amazing story of my favorite characters of Twilight Princess, glad I kept looking for another story for that amazing game, and now I found it, looks like I will have a good time reading this, as for the first impression of the chapter I loved it, Link way to keep Midna in the ligth realm was a surprise, even he did not believe it at first, but it was worth it, well I look forward to read the next chapter.
JLdark chapter 2 . 12/13/2016
I'm hoping for more of Link and Midna, because I loved their interactions, I think you got their personalities just right and how they interact with each other, I do look forward the next chapter, just like this one was so good to read.
ValkyrieKnight96 chapter 15 . 8/25/2016
Chris: I have an inkling sensation that theyre going to end up hunkering down somewhere and starting their own village at some point.

Michael: Or they could simply continue being a nomadic tribe and integrate more and more followers as their journey goes on.

Chris: Shudduuuupp! Don't crush mah dreeeemz!
ValkyrieKnight96 chapter 13 . 8/23/2016

Very nice chapter I must say. You really captured the characters personalities well. Great imagery and descriptions. A few typos here and there but hey we have all had those ;). Great first chapter. Jolly well done!

VakaPyro chapter 21 . 10/16/2015
So, I finally read through this story, and what an original set of ideas it consists of! From Link's instinctive action at the start, their exile and new journey, to the gathering of such a huge family they become a tribe, eventually leading them to full-circle. As with your other stories I've read, the writing style is impeccable, the narrative fluid and illustrative. I cannot find fault with that.
There is an ample amount of characterisation applied to both the 'original' and your own characters considering the circumstances, especially toward Link and Midna. I admit, I was surprised and unsure at how... easily... Midna seemed to accept the loss of her way home, and her refusal to find a way back when the opportunity was presented; I always thought of Midna as loving Link more than her people by the end... but duty dictates her to put them before her happiness, leading to the original ending (and our opportunities to make it better through fanfiction). Whilst initially I was unsure by this turn of events, you suitably conveyed just how strong their bond was, and how it prevailed over 'fate' it were. Though, in the end, she returns with Link and her children (which I am sure you will agree is how it could and should have originally ended, with Link finding a way to her!). Anyway, with that ramble over...
Their exile and journey from Hyrule was a nice idea, especially with them not going alone: Ilia was a great character throughout, the development you put into her was impressive. Furthermore, with their expertise of shadow magic for 'good' purposes, saving the friends they made during the journey (with them then joining them on the travels), and their differences between establishment to become a tribe of pariahs was highly original and entertaining to read. Honestly, the full-circle when they have nowhere left to run, to make their home in the Twilight was poetic, leading to such a lovely, happy ending. Again though, it provokes the thought of 'why didn't they do that to begin with?'. In the end, this journey was finding themselves and that of their friends, their family. They did get there in the end, but the long way round.

Ergo, to cut my rambling prattle short (!), this story, this journey was spectacular, raising question and notions, but answering them through (for lack of better term) love. I really, really enjoyed this, thank you for writing it, and well done for such a good job. I shall have to read 'The Strength of Courage' next!
