Author has written 12 stories for Harry Potter, and Naruto. Updates Okay, folks, Victoire is back (you've hopefully noticed), and after posting five more chapters of The Veela and the Metamorphmagus, she has decided to take a slightly different- some may even say radical- approach to her updating policy, as follows: Victoire shall not Update maniacally over the summer, trying to Post every second day and therefore losing some of her treasured Freedom. Instead, Victoire shall post less frequently, but try to do it more often, even when the Black Abyss of Time and Energy once again drags her into its Shadowy Depths. She Solemnly Vows to make the occasional Update throughout the year. Signed, Victoire Lupin. If anyone has suggestions for Victoire about what to put in either Snapshots or the Veela and the Metamorphmagus, please let her know. Reviews Victoire has a love/hate relationship with reviews. She absolutely adores them, they give her inspiration and energy to continue writing on fanfiction.net, and she loves contructive criticsm. Because she's odd that way. However, she's not quite sure what to do once she's obtained aforementioned reviews, rather like a dog who actually catches a car. What next? She has heard that replying to reviewers at the beginning or end of an actual story is now prohibited, and she really wants to get in touch with some of her reviewers, so she will suck it up, PM them, and hope they don't mind. If someone ever actually reads this and has a suggestion about replying to reviews, please PM Victoire. She will platonically love you forever. She also does her best to review everything that she reads. Finished Stories Time You Earned Respect: Victoire's first fanfiction ever. This one-shot is about Rufus Scrimgeour and the night he died, protecting Harry to the very end. Because Victoire is of the belief Rufus needs more loving. Sharing All Our Lives: Victoire's first fluff one-shot, in which Victoire Weasley is not happy and has a cold. Written when Victoire (the author, not the character; goodness, this is getting confusing) had a very awful cold indeed. Experimental Oneshots: Victoire would prefer to forget about these stories. She does not think they are very good, but she treasures each review more dearly than Hepzibah treasured Tom Riddle, and therefore keeps them. She apologizes for any loss of brain cells you may suffer while reading them, but thanks all the people who liked them. Victoire's Ships Victoire likes any canon Harry Potter pairing except for Grindelwald/Dumbledore, because it was not a symbiotic relationship. She also approves of Rose/Scorpius, because it's cute, and some crack pairings which are slowly brewing in her twisted mind... About Victoire Victoire tries to be one third Hermione, one third Luna, and one third herself. She likes sunsets, long walks with her dog, and the word 'whimsy'. J.K. Rowling has impacted her life deeply; because of her wonderful writings, Victoire takes Latin lessons and wants to take Classics when she goes to University. She deeply disapproves of incorrect grammar or punctuation (If you stick apostrophes where they should not be, she will hurt you. Be warned.), and rap. Victoire reads Shakespeare, has an unhealthy love of semi-colons, and would love to carry the children of Yo-Yo Ma, Peter Tchaikovsky, or both. She is under the impression that talking about herself in third person is extremely droll. Any stories you read here are brought to you by a combination of green tea, long discussions at the dinner table, good books- and her faith. Yes, Victoire is a staunch Anglican, but not one of those awful ones you see ranting away on the telly. Those people put Victoire off her food. But her Christianity is very important to her, and she firmly believes that the Harry Potter series is one of the most faith-filled and Christian series since the Chronicales of Narnia (which she also loves). A wonderful cast of characters colours Victoire's life; her parents, who are two of the loveliest people in the world and just psychotic enough to make life interesting; her abnormally large and neurotic miniature Schnauzer; her teachers; and, of course, her dearly beloved friends. Speaking of which, she shall now shamelessly advertise for aforementioned friends. Islil Helyanwe has written an amazing fic about 'The Wild Swans' (Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, for those of you who don't know), Ze'eva Shacklebolt is great if you like a) Tamora Pierce or b) Kingsley Shacklebolt fics in which he is not gay and/or a pedophile, and Kiki the Kitty and Usagi Sora are both simply made of win. Victoire always likes making new friends. If you want to PM her, she will happily PM you back. Also, if you have any ideas about what she should write about next, please review or PM her. Because anyone can be a Muse. Victoire has written quite enough, most of which will probably never get read. If it has been, she thanks you for putting up with her rambles, and hopes you enjoy your visit. Cheerio! |
