![]() Author has written 11 stories for Last Ship, Days of Our Lives, and Scandal. Hi, my name is Kate. I'm a 30-something wife and mom who masquerades as a corporate banker because that's the gig that pays the bills. I love to read, I adore film and television, and very, very recently, I decided to try my hand at writing. I also love music and have some classical voice training. Broadway is my weakness, though. It's been quite a journey thus far, and I've met some really amazing people along the way. If I tried, I don't think I could possibly list all the pairings I ship, but I'll give it a whirl. In (mostly) chronological order, from the time that my obsession, er, I mean, fascination began with the first couple I can remember shipping way before that was even an actual thing: 1. Bo and Carly - Days of Our Lives (I was 12, don't judge, and Peter Reckell and Crystal Chappell were the hottest thing my 12 y/o self had ever seen); side note, Crystal Chappell remains, to this day, the single, most incredibly warm and genuine person whom I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Seriously, angels sing, daffodils bloom, and baby unicorns are born in the Enchanted Forest whenever CC - aka La Chappell, our Goddess - stirs on this mortal plain. 2. Mulder and Scully - The X-Files (no explanation necessary for this one, I trust) 3. Angel and Cordelia - Angel (yeah, I know, I get it, I'm in the minority, but they made sense until TPTB wrecked Cordelia; this was also the first time I can remember actively hating TPTB) 4. Clark and Lois - Smallville (see note on #2) 5. Booth and Bones - Bones (smart is sexy and tactless forensic anthropologists are funny) 6. Olivia and Natalia - Guiding Light (Holy Chocolate Starfish, Batman! These two beauties, portrayed by the Dynamic Duo of Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia, stole the show and my heart; there'll never be a sweeter, sexier, more true case of friends to lovers than the magic that is Otalia) 7. Snow and Charming - Once Upon a Time (they're Snow White and Prince Charming; don't argue with True Love) 8. Andrea and Rick - The Walking Dead (please refer to the note on #3; this began my second case of actively hating TPTB) 9. Regina and Robin - Once Upon a Time (again, not a popular pairing, but they had their moments) 10. Regina and Emma - Once Upon a Time (look, I binge-watched the entire series following the S5 finale, and I'm more convinced than ever that SwanQueen should be endgame; great day in the morning, the looks and the feels that these two create are inspiring) 11. Tom and Rachel - The Last Ship (it was nice while it lasted) 12. Tom and Sasha - The Last Ship (this one has a lot of potential) 13. Mitch and Jamie - Zoo (please, TPTB, fix this one during S3, please, please, please!) |
