wow just wow - this was an amazingly well plotted and written story - you were able to weave such characterizations with dialogue with danger with humor that it's impossible to point out my favorite bits - though I have to say the naming his kid Stanley was a stroke of genius which took me a chapter to catch was homage to Stan Lee since I kept thinking what a weird ass name for Owen's kid - and finally I greatly appreciate a story without grammar issues which inevitably break the rhythm of a story

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. You bring out every good quality of Owen and Claire, yet, you allow them their vulnerabilities, as well. Neither is perfect, but they are, quite frankly, bad-ass, freaking alphas, and together, they are a FORCE. Stanley breaks my mother’s heart; he’s been through so much, but he’s still standing. He is so much like Owen, it’s clear they’ll butt heads on the best of days, but I appreciate that you didn’t have Stanley suddenly falling into his long-lost father’s arms or Claire turning into a Stepford wife crossed with Mary Poppins. Owen, Claire and Stanley are very complex individuals, and I applaud you for painting a realistic dipiction of Owen and Claire trying to parent together and Stanley trying to determine where he fits in the world because his mother, HIS entire world, is gone, and he is flailing just trying to figure out how he can go on without her. Parenting is hard; step-parenting is brutal, and, again, your story touches on some difficult themes - the action, romance and banter amongst the characters are incredible and keep the reader hooked and looking for more. Well done.

Just one of those embarrassing people who discovered this like a year too late. I wanted to say that this is really well-written, I really enjoyed reading it, and I actually found myself really liking Stan (which doesn't usually happen in this kind of fic). This is probably one of my favourite fics in this fandom and I'm checking out the sequel now :)

Oh my sweet lord u just made my day. I mean, wow. I knew you suggested we give you ideas, but I didn't expect u to actually GO for it when I just listed something off the top of my head. U started off the chapter fine, Stan was back to having issues, Owen was being his usual self, Claire was holding off the boys and Karen (yay, the boys are here! I hope Stan manages to be friends with Zach, they'd be expert brooders together), when all of a sudden Gray mentions exporting dinosaurs and I was just like; could it be? Once said Dino showed its face, I was squeeling and jumping up and down, successfully managing to wake up my brother. I CANNOT wait to see what happens, I hope Zach will get tied into the 'hide the dinosaur' project too. I'm very glad you're continuing this thing, even happier that there'll be a sequel, and once again, thank you for granting my request, you really have just made me extremely happy. Looking forward to seeing more from u my friend, as usual, good luck! :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You know, while reading the last two chapters I started to wonder how long would it take before your characters became bored of their simple life in the ranch and get back into action. I loved 'Agua Caliente' (thank you for acknowledging my comment), but I felt something was kind off. While this period of mourning/recovery is necessary for the characters, I thought the whole situation was too 'normal' and calm for them. So I went back to read the first chapter and to the scene that, to me, sets the pace for the rest story. It's the part when Tucker goes to the bungalow to tell Owen bout Stan’s arrival and a pterodactyl attacks them. Owen's 'where's my goodam gun' while shoving/protecting Claire and shooting the animal between the eyes defines him perfectly. That is natural for him, not planting corn and breeding cows in his mom’s ranch. And I can’t picture Claire as a housewife either. She likes the adrenaline as much as Owen does. So, when Grey mentioned the raptors being shipped out of Nublar and showed Owen the box with the baby triceratops, I started bouncing in my chair. I knew you were preparing us for a sequel, and now I can’t wait to read it. Thank you!
BTW, I loved Zack being jealous of Stan.

If you had stopped here, you might have been able to claim it's just an epilogue. However, chapters 17 and 18 are looking like an actual sequel. I think you ought to just go with the flow and call the next STORY... Loco Parents.
