Author has written 19 stories for Bleach, Fairy Tail, Naruto, My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute/俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない, and League of Legends. In the means, we are all writers, and in the time we share, we are all from the stage as a reader. But, one thing is evident in the process of our transformation: Our beliefs never die. Even if only in words and sentences written with ink upon a paper page, if only in paragraphs diligently typed on a document accessed from a computer, it is still a story that inspires all of us to strive for our goals. It is important, nonetheless to strive endlessly, for our proof as to extend the disbelief, in the idea that something is impossible. In the understanding of this dream, on the palette of colors that write called our fingers, and the reason behind this insanity called our minds, we are forever inspired as readers to become writers no matter the circumstance. Someone who has never read cannot dream of becoming a writer, and someone who has never had any interest cannot claim themselves as a reader of anything. For who are we to understand something that we could never have thought of? Who are we to judge upon the morals of many different characters, and authors who control them if we fail to see in the eye of the beholder? Just like any type of beautiful picture painted on a canvas, our ideas become the paint and our minds the master of the brush that is contained in the palms of our hands, our bodies as the creator and we then again move on, painting a masterpiece as beautiful as any scene in a photo could be; We display the emotions and conflicts of the heart that can truly define us as philosophers of the stories we have bled to create. A writer, A lover, A mover, A dreamer. We are all the same, waiting for our day to where people will come to understand who we are. Well well well. What do I see on fanfiction? Assholes. Let me explain. To properly give criticism, you must first know what you are criticizing, and how to fix it. Otherwise, your advice is quite literally meaningless. To anybody who reads this and disagrees, it sucks to be you. My Peeves Terrible Writers - T.W. for short - PUT SOME DAMN EFFORT INTO YOUR WORK, YOU IMBECILES!!! I can never seem to find a good or even great story I have never read because the "goody two-shoes" assholes who think they are authorized to "take down your work" just because they can't write it themselves. Stop it. These imbecilic twelve-year-olds and forty-year-old man babies need to grow the hell up and learn to read modern literature, and respect it as such, otherwise they will remain as fools forever. "Goody Two Shoes" It's up there, above. "Know-it-all" Please, as if I even need to use effort to school half of the populace on their grammar and sentence structure. People who obviously can't handle reading something that doesn't "fit their palate" shouldn't be part of the community. It gives people like them no right to falsely criticize and call people's works garbage when they don't have the mental or physical capacity to write something on your level. "Flashback Bitching" When there's a lot of flashbacks in a story, it can be well written or just be an essential part of leading into the story. Of course, when you put my level of detail into them, people tend to cry and moan about how bad it is in the first chapter, when they fail to pay attention to what happens inside them, including key phrases that may or may not be introduced again later on in the fic. "Grammar Nazis" Face it, you can be wrong. Whether or not something could be better in your eyes, if it fits, it fits. No need to change something unnecessarily if it doesn't need to be changed. "Trolls" Do you love flaming on stories? Do you love nitpicking certain details out of them just to use to complain about it? You belong in the dumpster! Where else could these flipper babies could have come from? "Idiots." The reason why I put a period there is for emphasis. BIG EMPHASIS. Especially on half of the people who review on the stories I enjoy reading. Why do you complain about the pairing if it ends up happening because that's the way the author wants to go? As long as the main pairing is explicitly stated will happen, it will happen. Anyone else added to the group should not be of concern if you favor another guy or gal. Also, people who can't review. Or write when they do it. This is a message to everyone who had tried to "school" me in grammar. These people are usually fanatics of canon pairings, exceptionally stupid, and may or may not have an agenda against ninety percent of the writers on fanfiction. To those who actually can and will school me on grammar, thank you. You give advice that'll improve my writing style. Gracias, amigos. "Shit-talkers" The only reason why I say this is there were two guests who claimed to have stories that have over 50 million views. Yeah right. Keep on dreaming. I've been working my ass off, and, even with the work I put in, I have only managed at most, on March twenty first, 78k views on nine chapters of my story, Lives of the Many, Promises to Keep. If that wasn't enough, please, keep talking shit. You usually can't handle the fact that someone is getting more attention, when usually, they end up deserving it. "Time-Wasters" These kinds of stories repeat the same word or phrase for ten thousand words. Most of you trolls and asshats, I'm looking at you. Quit it. You aren't impressing anybody with your typical, run of the mill, youtube-like clickbait that has nothing to do with what you are truly writing. It's an insult to people who actually post stories that long with success, and because you idiots re getting more views than us because of a damn summary, it's actually annoying. We want people to enjoy our works, but they will be more afraid of these clickbait titles and stories if you keep posting them, and nobody will want to come back to fanfiction. "Ignorance" If you really cannot read in-depth, why are you giving a in-depth analysis of a story where you don't even capture the true main focuses of the story and/or plot? There is a reason for everything that an authour does, so, if you have something to complain about, wait till the story is completed before you truly make an analysis of what you thought of it. This way, we can actually gauge on how far we progressed, and how far we need to go to make a really good story. "Canon Worshippers" Canon pairings are not the only thing that can be written. Grow a pair, some of you fuckbats. I'm tired of canon pairings getting all the attention, and any excellent stories of obscure pairings being pushed off to the side. It's actually depressing. Plus, when you follow exactly through canon, never changing, never straying, always going along the original story, your fanfic is absolutely, positively, dreadfully boring. We've seen Naruto. We don't need another repeat of it. So, for the sake of the site, GET CREATIVE YOU SCHMUCKS! That's about it for my pet peeves and messages to those types of people. The reason why they were written as they were, is because those are the most common types I run into. I've read nearly sixty four thousand fanfics, and before I knew recently how to favorite and follow stories, I would say I have roughly covered nearly every conceived idea for a few fanbases already, especially in the anime section. People who claim to have been here since 2005 like myself, but still cannot write a good story have no excuse. You have had plenty of study on other people's works. Now write. Live. Beathe. Enjoy yourself to you heart's content. Maybe, then just maybe, this kind of stuff will stop. The things I enjoy: A well written story. There is nothing better than, small or large, a good fic that captivates you for the whole ride, even if the writer him/her self is new to the site. It shouldn't matter how new they are, it would be best if people stayed outta their way if the majority loves the story. "A Main Focus" Give me something to chew on, something to digest as I read. Nothing screams out the meaning of your story more than the message you portray through the life of you characters inside your work. "Proper Dialogue" When chatspeak and this: Natsu: I love you! is avoided, then it is very easy to follow. Doing what has been displayed above, in my mind, fucking puts a story into absolute ruin. It's cringe-worthy to look at and read through when a story is written by an incompetent person. This, my friends, needs to stop. "Incredible Reviewers" I'm talking about the OG's that stick through a story and give their all into a review. Please, do this more. I very much, as well as every author, appreciate whatever you have to offer. "Compliments" Your complements and positive outlook can save a story! Don't be afraid, even if there are a lot of negatives, to list the positive things that someone is doing! It makes them feel better, and boosts their esteem and work ethic to improve on every new chapter! "Private Messages" I love getting these as compared to a review, because you can really go in depth with advice without ruining the integrity of someone else's, or even your own story. Really, this comes in handy so very often for me and many others on this site. "Comedy" Come on, don't you love laughing as you read along a story? It's good to have a little bit of everything in your story, because it shows all the different sides that your characters and their personalities have to offer. It's something I thoroughly enjoy writing, too. "Constructive Criticism" Be careful on this one, because if you don't watch your mouth, this will turn into a very heated review. I'm tired of people who don't know what they're talking about reviewing on a story and thus ruining what could very easily be fixed. my 2 guys, I'm looking at you, dude. I mean, if you post the same thing for every chapter, it's just annoying. It shows no level of competence in ability to review a story for what it's worth, and show the value of whatever is learned from it. You can't fix what you do not know is wrong. "Good Smut" There is a fine line between basic smut and good smut. I'm a strong believer in emotional duress, especially when sex is involved. And when this is properly portrayed without the main character looking like a playboy, I'm usually like- All right! Because then, I'm able to feel what the characters are feeling. "Obscure Pairings" This, my friends, are the things that shine. These are usually tackled by people who know what they are doing. Be glad I told you that, because 90% of the best stories on this site come from them. The canon pairings are boring, whether you agree or not. They aren't creative in most cases, just repeats. "Happy Writers" They don't let the kind of stuff that knocks my door kick them down. Nope, they keep improving and learn what they can. Kudos to all of you, like myself, who are still improving. Bless you guys, seriously. For the most part, those are my basic likes when I approach and interact with this site. They get me going in a positive way, per se. For the most part, I guess I should list things that I honestly hope for in the future. This list will consist of pairings and other ideas that I hope get a good follow through. IchiBel (Ichigo x Halibel) - It's hard to find a good, unbiased, non-hollow based story that concludes these two characters, and I'd honestly like to see a relationship between these two characters grow because of their common personalities, rather than using the greater desires of a hollow as an excuse, which seems to be the common theme. If you do, however, see it as viable, GIVE US SOMETHING TO WORK WITH. I NaruMe (Naruto x Ayame) - Man, they're just plain adorable together, and age is certainly not an issue. If you like this pairing too, try to expand on it, I'm begging you! IchiKaku (Ichigo x Kukaku) - With two fiery, opposing, constantly head-butting personalities, they could make a great, and rather interesting couple to write on. All that's really needed is a bit of effort, and I'm positive one could help expand on her overall character quite easily, because of her predictable, yet very painfully lovable personality. Mix that with Ichigo's 'Protector Complex' and you get something that's wild, funny, heartfelt, and honest out of it. This is part of the list because I'm too lazy to add more at the moment! xD |
