Plays/Musicals, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Murder She Wrote, Misc. Books, and Misc. Movies. Hello everybody! And thanks for checking my profile! I'm LavernaG, a very cheerful and artistic girl. I'm 16 years old, sometimes wiser than an adult, sometimes delightfully childlike. I love art, sculpting clay, drawing and painting, and I read and write very much. I study very well at school (best in class!). I love different kinds of music: operetta, children songs, choir music, classical, and pop music, and different songs from the 20th century. I'm a very good singer, and I've got a very wide vocal range. I also like dancing. I'm all about being myself no matter what happens. Those of you who have read my stories know that I am an avid member of a great many fandoms, and I do have trouble sometimes deciding which one to write for. I am a great fan of the wonderful TV series "Downton Abbey", "Lovejoy", the beautiful "Anne with an 'E'" (or simply "Anne"), the splendid "Girlfriends" (2018), also beautiful and brilliant—"The Good Karma Hospital", the chilling "Stranger Things", the magnificent "Smash" that combined so many of my favourite things and people, and the amazing and original "American Horror Story". I must also mention the Swedish masterpiece that took my breath away from the first glimpse—"Vår tid är nu" ("Our Time is Now" / "The Restaurant"). Great thanks to my friend for introducing me to "Beyblade Burst" and "Haikyuu"; they're great fun. My favourite animated series, however, must be "'Tales of Arcadia": both "3Below" and "Trollhunters"— they're super funny and also very beautiful. There isn't a more realistic and therefore wonderfully sweet series than "Õnne 13" ("Number 13 Luck/Happiness street")—my Estonian favourite. In my opinion, "Murder, She Wrote" is the most clever and sweet mystery series, and "The Golden Girls" and its spin-off "Hot in Cleveland" are the best sitcoms in all history, so those are also in my favourites' list. Another one of my undeniable favourites is the FX series "Feud: Bette and Joan" for all the thought, research and stars put into it. I love fairy tales, majestic castles and magic. I read very much, mostly fantasy books, and romances. I adore Shakespeare. And I enjoy watching different kinds of movies. My all-time favourite is "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?", and the book is also my absolute favourite. I love black-and-white movies from the 30s to 60s! I also enjoy comedies, children's movies and musicals. My OTPs are Queen Clarisse & Joseph (from "The Princess Diaries"), Mrs. Hughes & Mr. Carson (from "Downton Abbey"), Eglantine Price & Emelius Browne (from "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"), Mary Poppins & Bert (from "Mary Poppins"), Queen Elinor & King Fergus (from "Brave"), Helga Löwander & Stig Backe (from "Vår tid är nu") and Alma & Johannes Saarepera (from "Õnne 13"). My favourite Disney films: "Mary Poppins", "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" and "The Princess Diaries 1&2". I am a fan of The Meryl Streep, the sweet Phyllis Logan, the beautiful Geraldine James, the magnificent Anjelica Huston, the wonderful Suzanne Reuter, the sweet and ageless Angela Lansbury, the utterly fabulous Emma Thompson and the amazingly talented Megan Hilty. Also, who could not love Johnny Depp, Tom Hiddleston, Jack Davenport and David Tomlinson? Bea Arthur has bewitched me with her extraordinary deep voice, and Betty White is absolutely wonderfully nuts. Glenn Close is really an amazing actress and singer—also at the very top my favourites' list. Julie Andrews has the most beautiful voice in the world, and that's why I love her as well. Another favourite of mine is the forever young Estonian actress and singer Helgi Sallo. And I adore the undying star Joan Crawford, the terrifically talented Bette Davis, and of course today's queens Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon; they are each legendary. My favourite play—about which I shall never, beyond a shadow of doubt, change my opinion—is Piret Jaaks's "Öökuninganna" ("Queen of the Night"). This play crushed every other one I'd ever seen, even "Hollywoodi Filmitähed" ("Hollywood Movie Stars") in which Helgi Sallo and Katrin Karisma (my favourite Estonian actresses) played Joan Crawford and Bette Davis respectively. Next to "Baby Jane", "Queen of the Night" is the best piece of hagsploitation ever written. Helgi Sallo—the incomparable Helgi Sallo—played her role with such unbelievable precision that, watching her, I constantly wanted to jump out of my chair with excitement. And just when I thought she could never do anything more incredible than playing this role, she went on and sang along to the "Queen of Night Aria"! And then, after the play was over, she skipped over the stage like a young girl and bowed with such breathtaking grandiosity that it seemed nothing could ever make me happier than seeing her so blissfully blowing a kiss to the audience! My favourite singers are Cher, Kaliopi, Patti Page and Helgi Sallo. However, when Julie Andrews comes in the picture, no one can top her—but let's just consider her an actress, and give the others a chance. I love the nature, so I spend a lot of time outdoors. Luckily, I live in a place surrounded by trees. In summer I like to climb up a certain tree in my garden and write my stories up there. Here at FanFiction.net I have had a lot of fun, read many fantastic stories and made amazing friends. I have lots of new ideas for my stories, and in proper time I intend to write them all down. I hope that you will read some of my stories here at FanFiction.net when you have the time. For I'm "unleashing my imagination". Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious y'all! |
