VIEWS ON HARRY POTTER AND FANFICTION:

These are completely my views. I do not mean to offend anyone. Please take this lightly.

Severus Snape- I do not like him. Yes, he did a lot for Harry. Yes, he was brave. No, I do not like him. He loved Lily, but apparently not enough to change when she gave him the chance. He got involved in the Dark Arts, and supported Voldemort. Somehow, many people forget that. He did a lot for Harry more out of regret than love. Even if he hated James, that was really no excuse to treat Harry the way he did. The way he treats Neville just because Voldemort chose Lily's son and not Alice's is inexcusable. He may be a great man, and I kind of respect him, but I don't think I will ever like him.

AU stories - I do not like or read them. I mean, a bit AU is okay, like where Harry comes to know the prophecy a little earlier. EWE stories if written well I enjoy. Parallel universe is fine. But changing timelines completely, changing canon ships, slash where there is no slash and relationships between the randomest people are strange. I do not understand why people enjoy stories like that. If Petunia had treated him well, Harry Potter wouldn't have been the way he was. Bellatrix and Luna hardly know each other, so how do you even come up with a relationship? :O

Following- I simply fail to comprehend why people follow completed one shot stories.

Remus, Tonks and Fred- They are such amazing characters. They are some of my favourite characters, and their death is explained in one line. One line. Why? It is unfair.

Drarry- I know a lot of people ship this couple, and each is entitled to their own opinion. But really? I mean, they hated each other, like super duper hate. Like James and Snape. They never became friends even after the war. So, how do people see a romantic relationship between them?

WolfStar- I don't ship it. Sirius was a ladies' man. Remus loved Tonks. End of story.

Canon- I ship only canon couples, compliant with the DH epilogue with the exception of Neviluna and Dramione. Dramione, is a unique persepctive but very unlikely, so I ship it selectively. I ship only if the characters are completely in character, and the relationship is complex, dark, and deep in the initial years at least. Draco is not a 'sweet guy'. I very very very rarely read fluffy Dramione stories. As a charcter, the books version of Draco is quite horrid but the movie shows a slightly softer and less evil side to him, so I like him in the movies. Also,Tom Felton is so effin hot.

Drapple- What the hell.

Snily- Like I said before, I don't like Snape. Thus, I do not like Snily, unless it is unrequited, realistic and well written. James and Lily were meant for each other.
