With the addition of a new crew member, and an even more threatening string of encounters, it becomes clear that Voyager will leave an indelible mark on galactic history. Rating for language, action, and some dark/suggestive themes. UPDATE 10/6: Chapter 14 expanded with new material, split into two chapters.

For the first year after a tragic slipstream flight cost all but two of Voyager's crew their lives, Chakotay is haunted by the memory of Kathryn Janeway and the last night they spent together. When his search for healing leads him to Deep Space Nine, he meets a counselor who helps him find what he needs to move forward. Canon compliant.

The modifications Kathryn makes to Michael Sullivan's program are very suspicious, if you think about it.

(Resolved: Part V) At the end of the Year of Hell, Kathryn Janeway faces the losses of Voyager's final battle with Annorax. She is also reunited with Chakotay, in whom she takes comfort. Set a year after "Memento" and contains minor spoilers for chapters 16 & 17 of "Collective."

The fourth intersect in Jeffrey's tube twenty-five of the Enterprise-D became the resonance chamber for Picard and Daren's love. For Kathryn Janeway and Chakotay, the Delta Quadrant became theirs. (Resolved: Part IV) A year of shared love has changed Kathryn and Chakotay— and their crew— for the better. It has transformed them into a family. This corresponds to events in final chapter of "Far From Their Bones."

(Resolved: Part III) After grieving the loss of his son with Seska, Chakotay and Kathryn share their thoughts on children.

The truth of what happened between Janeway, Chakotay, and Seven is hidden in the things the Admiral didn't say. It wasn't just the sudden death of Chakotay's wife that broke him; he and Kathryn had already broken each other. Unaltered Endgame timeline. Dark J/C.
