501st Disciple-Character Profile: James Dowding

Affiliation: Britannia, BRAF, 29th Aerial Defence Squadron (Disciple); 501st Joint Fighter Wing

Nicknames: Church; Zero Witch

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Greyish-Blue (White Iris with Blue Glow whenever activating his ability) (Right eye turns red when activating the Fusion Striker)

Aircraft Used: Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XII

Striker Unit: Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XII; Supermarine Spitfire-0 (Cipher) Type 500 (Whenever activated)

Armament: Charlton Automatic Rifle (Primary), Lee-Enfield No. 4 MK.1 (Accuracy)

Abilities: Second Sun (EMP); Mimic (Night Radar Detection); Blue Lasers (Whenever Striker Unit ability is active)

Personality: Rather easy-going like Yoshika and disciplined like Gertrude. Let's just say a mix between two different personalities. Although at the level of Wing Commander, he would talk to others. He would act as an older brother to Yoshika, Lynette, and Sanya, whereas in training, he would like to push himself like Gertrud, but not too much. Since Dowding is the only male member of the JFW, the generals see equality within the witches. Under Minna's command, he follows orders from her and vice versa. The problem is, he can get ticked off when the Neuroi goes up against anything he cherishes, like his squadmates in the 29th and the 501st. He also has to care for Yoshika and Gertrud, in case they get into trouble. Let's just say, brother-sister relationships.

Thoughts on:

Minna-"So, the commander and I have a brother/sister type relationship. She's the first witch I've met to speak with casually. At least she knows my dad and long friends with him, though I wonder how is she going to treat me."

Lynne-"After joining the 501st, Lynne is another Britannian that is part of the squadron. Least I'm not the only one there. I want to talk to her though along with Yoshika about their exploits".

Yoshika-"Yoshika and I have the same personality. Both of us are lively though I'm just a newcomer to the squad. Overall, I'm kind of her older brother, keeping eye on her whenever we battle against the Neuroi."

Mio-"I feel bad taking over Mio's position as second-in-command of the 501st. Also, I kinda feel uneasy when she always has that angry expression written all over her face. It is just for me to take the reigns of her position and boost my potential. I just hope she doesn't take things overboard and make me do a hundred laps."

Perrine-"A noble of Gallia, huh? She's a little hard on Yoshika though having a tendency to look up on the Mio. Why? I have no idea, but she seems... attracted to her. Still though, she's a good teammate."

Erica-"Now what can I say about the highest scoring witch of the 501st? She is always lively and unstoppable during battle and Erica and I seem to be two of the best aces, though we're not being over ourselves. The only thing she needs to work on though is to wake up like Barkhorn."

Trude-"Now about me and Trude. Uh... I don't know what to say about her. It's like we're related though I'm from Britannia and she's from Karlsland. I feel like she's a sister I never had. So... Trude... why are you here? Okay, disregard what I've said. DISREGARD WHAT I SAID!"

Shirley-"Overall, great mechanic and friend. I know she has a rivalry with Barkhorn, but I just ignore it and let them agree to disagree. Though I don't want them to constantly bicker, even if a Neuroi attacks us."

Lucchini-"It's a good thing that Lucchini is snapping me out of my gaze whenever I look at Shirley's bosom, otherwise I would be lost in thought. She is young but she's a good squad mate whenever Shirley is somewhere else."

Sanya-"Sweet and kind, she is always the silent type in the squadron. I'm really happy that she's in the squad because I act like a brother of hers and always cared for her whenever she needs it. I don't know why Eila is a little jealous whenever either Heidemarie and I are close to Sanya."

Eila-"I don't know why she is close to Sanya. Maybe it's sisterly bonds or she's young and overprotective. The one thing is to keep her away from Lynnette's bosom whenever I'm chatting with her."

Heidemarie-"Like Sanya, she's another night witch. I think I should consult Minna to let Heidemarie and Sanya take one night each day. Yeah, doesn't sound so bad."

Shizuka-"An old friend of Yoshika and Mio. Yeah, it's kind of... weird but she said I look like her brother. I can't argue with that now can I? I hope she still uses that code when we went to defend Force Z, because she can use it."

Mai-"Other than Yoshika and Mio, she is the only friend I have when I first studied in Fuso. It's a good thing I saved her, and at times I called her 'Princess.' The nickname stuck, I know."

Tatsuya-"The kid we picked up is a great help to the 501st. I feel sorry for him when he died but resurrected thanks to his parents love. He also has this Neuroi core within him, which can help out greatly, but I worry about his mental state when Fred controls him. I'm starting to find him getting close to Sanya for some reason, but I don't mind it. I just wanted him to become a great witch."

Madoka-"Madoka? I love her very much. I thought she was dead during the Neuroi Blitz, but I'm very happy to see her alive and well. We could use her in the field, mainly because she has a fighter and has a distinct advantage over the Neuroi. Good thing I know my Fusoan because she sometimes uses her native tongue. I love her because she's my sister."

Character Profile: Mai Kawashima

Affiliation: Fuso Empire; IFAAF; 24th Air Wing "Imperial Knights"; 501st Joint Fighter Wing

Nicknames: Ice Witch; Princess (by James)

Hair Color: Auburn

Eye Color: Emerald

Striker Unit: Mitsubishi A7M "Reppu"

Abilities: Snap Freeze (Ice crystals launched from her arms to freeze a moving target); Cryogeddon (Widespread blue pulse which blanketed an entire battle area, only affects Neuroi

Personality: Easygoing like Yoshika and James. In battle, she gets a little worried at first over the Neuroi strength capabilities. Afterwards, she calms down and dogfights her heart out. If anything happens to anyone close to her, her skills go into a frenzy, even using her own powers to protect people. She still has to watch herself also, even if she needs to be reminded by James. She is also caring to her squad mates, particularly Erica, Sanya, Trude, and James.

Thoughts on:

Minna- "The Wing Commander has been very nice to me since I'm part of the 501st. I look up to her as my big sister whenever she wants me as her wing mate. I just hope that James and Mio will be okay with that."

James- "I still thank James for rescuing me back when he was studying in Fuso. Now that he's part of the 501st, he wants to protect me from even more deadlier threats. I see him talking with Barkhorn, maybe they're boyfriend and girlfriend, I don't know, but they would make a great couple. Just don't let him notice with what I said."

Lynne-"The Britannian witch and I are like sisters. Whenever Lucchini and/or Eila wanted to fondle Lynne, she better call me to freeze them if they get close."

Yoshika-"Another sister of mine, she and I are very lively and strived to protect others. I have decided that I would like to take her under my wing, whenever we fly together."

Mio-"The Major? Let's just say, she's Minna's other half. I respect her in ways, but I hope James tells her to ease off on me. From what he told me, the Major's training program is not like the usual training camps many personnel took. Still, I look up to her and respect her."

Perrine-"Unlike some Gallian nobles, she's the opposite version. She cares a lot about people who are affected by war and taking children in. I'll give some funds for her restoration when I have the chance

Shirley-"All I can say is that she's fast. I've heard Yoshika that she jumped a cliff back in Romagna. Remind me not to go with her if she's driving said vehicle.

Lucchini-"I like the kid. She's very lively but sometimes wants to target my upper area. Good thing I have ice as my magic so she has no chance of freezing her. It's called self-defense for a reason.

Trude-"Honestly, I was quite nervous around her. Overtime, I started liking her. Surprisingly, she and James are really cutting it close since they saw each other for the first time. I don't have nothing aginst her and her private life, even if she is in a relationship with him."

Erica-"The ultra-ace? Well, she's Barkhorn's opposite. At least she responds via my cooking or Yoshika's."

Sanya-"Sanya? Hmm. She's a nice girl, it feels like I've got a little sister. I can only question why Eila is very protective of her. I'm like a combination of her. Her being a night witch while me being an ice witch. Both of us like the cold for no apparent reason. Oh well."

Eila-"She is the mysterious one. And can predict the future. Maybe she can help me with my battle skills, well her teaching me to focus ahead of the attacks."

Tatsuya-"I've heard about him. His story is tragic yet inspiring. He's a Neuroi Witch. A huge step for the witches because he possesses a core within him. I fear for him when he gets into contact with Fred. I'll tell him to be careful."

Shizuka-"From what I learned, Shizuka helped accompany Yoshika to Helvetia. We're glad that she's part of the team, otherwise, she would just go back to Fuso and do nothing. I'll teach her how to open freely her mind."

Heidemarie-"Another night witch. She helps out with Sanya when she's not available or tired from a long operation. I'll follow what James is asking Minna to let Sanya and Heidemarie take shifts each week."

555th JFW: "The Tiny Witches? I've never seen them in combat. When I saw them, they are really something. But the Wing is filled with kids and those who are with diseases. I don't have a problem with them fighting, but them being sent to the front lines, it's different. I fear for their safety and I fear that they may not see their families again while growing up. We better keep a watchful eye on them though, because I'm honored to fly with the future generation."

Thoughts on:

James:"Nee-sama? He looks out for me because I'm his young sister. I get worried about him now since oto-san found out he's a witch. He's in good hands because he's in the Strike Witches. I don't want to see him dead in this war. Even if it means going to extremes. At least he's there for me in my time of need. And it looks like I need to return the favor."

Minna:"She's a nice witch. Though she does to be tense at times because she wants someone she cares about to survive. I can't blame her, even if she demands that nee-sama wants him to never don a Striker. She does tend to act in a sisterly manner because, we kind of act like sisters. That doesn't sound so bad."

-After the United States won their independence from Britannia, France underwent a revolution, that resulted in the abolition of the French monarchy and the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon's aim was to create a new empire, starting wars against Coalition members Prussia, Austria, Russia and the Britannian Empire. During the War of the Third Coalition, the Britannians won the Battle of Trafalgar, leading the French to abandon the invasion of Britannia. Because of this, the Royal Family never left. Napoleon suffered defeats at the hands of the Russian Empire and the Coalition forces during their invasion and the Sixth War. Napoleon suffered his final defeat at Waterloo as he's finally exiled to the island nation of St. Helena, where he died. Europe, no longer under the threat of Napoleon, continued to prosper well into the 20th century.

Europe also suffered hardships because of the established 'Council of Forty'. Because of this move, much of the European military is transformed into state armies. The 'Council of Forty' has different ideas on how to lead Europe into prosperity, some say that it could rival the Britannians, while others, sought out for peace and expand through negotiations. With the Britannians on the rise to domination, the EU turns to other nations to gain direct support. While opening up its trade and military supplies to the US and Japan, the EU's weakness was starting to become a reality.

After the Invasion of Japan and the US, the EU lost both Russia's west coast along with Spain and Portugal. One year after the Black Rebellion, the Britannians declared war on the EU, now led by Second Prince Schneizel. In Western Russia, along with Spain and Portugal, created Euro Britannia, led by Augusta Henry Velaines. Europe struck back, by liberating Spain by using Japanese, American and Euro aircraft. Before the invasion of Europe, a Britannian Field Marshal by the name of Daniel Weeker defected, saying that Britannia has become disillusioned by the ideals of the Emperor.
