- This is a pleasant surprise, I was afraid this would end up like a vast number of interesting stories where it never updates again.

- Are any of the GDI going to snark about Northern Cross? It's been pointed out in forums how dumb Northern Cross was, to quote someone from steam community:

"Yes! Let's just have everyone go over the top, charge blindly at the attacking Imperials, beat them somehow, and then rush 1500 kilometres towards their capital in less than nine months. This will definitely work!"

- Well as Aisha's existence has shown, yes they do accept child soldiers though her athleticism and intelligence definitely helped. However, I find it very hard to believe that her parents would allow her to enlist and that her enlistment didn't cause a PR shitstorm. In fact, all four games show that Gallia and apparently the Federation (such as Neige and Nico who would have been 14 when they completed the Ranger course during the flashback and Simon, a highwayman) will literally accept anyone.

- Will Rosie actually own up to her behavior? Rewatching VC, I think Rosie's jerkassery was overlooked a little too generously. If she had her way, Gallia would have had to deal with a bloody battle of attrition if not outright defeat and whenever Isara tells Rosie not to treat her badly, the game narrative treated her as if she was equally to blame for the ensuing argument.

Rosie also never actually apologized for her behavior even when Isara was dying (one would assume that a person would apologize for how they acted in the past rather thanking them for a gift while they were dying especially since Rosie referred to her by a racial slur not too long ago). In fact she never expressed any sort of guilt or remorse for how she treated Isara in the past (the conversation with the orphaned Darcsen boy in the seventh report was more of a fond recollection of an unreliable narrator) nor did she have to truly own up to her behavior. Whether it's the game, anime, or manga (especially the manga where she's an even bigger jerkass to the point she physically expressed her hatred by pushing her down) I can't help but feel that Isara would have at least had a higher chance of survival if she was less forgiving and went out of her way to avoid Rosie. It feels like Isara was reduced to a plot device all so Rosie can have a change of heart and a singing career.

Doesn't help that VC 2 sidelined her to a cameo and doesn't mention any worthwhile contribution on her part in the war against the rebels. The story of the second game pretty much seems to make her character development almost moot and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

GDI would have no concept of the Low Countries and France during ww2. They may have concept of the armies during the post Great War but WW2 in the tib verse occurred during the 1950s and its the allies vs the USSR. All Tib games take place after the events of Red Alert 1.

Other then that minor gripe I’ve loved the story so far I feel C&C is woefully underutilized for crossovers and you’ve done a good job so far looking forward to reading more.

I do hope you update this soon the premise seems very interesting especially how two or maybe three out of world factions may effect the valkyria chronicles world as a whole in this story you've written

I'm guessing Nod would be a major factor seeing that they would garner darcsen supporters steal research from the empire and Vinland and all nations involved with this leaving GDI as the only force keeping the nations from mostly fracturing and preventing Nod from complete world domination. Considering nod volunteers and darcsen desperation there would be no shortage of willing human experiment that would make belgar and forrester envy the process that NOd has acquired even succeeding V2 and rivaling valkyria.

I mean in the the valkyria world Nod might be already spread like a wild fire but just waiting until the Tim is right

- Always nice to see a chapter after so long. It would be interesting to see the reactions of Darcsens such as Calamity Raven to Laurette. And maybe as some sort of butterfly effect, Laurette ends up standing up for and inspiring Zeri instead of Kurt? Maybe the GDI could use Laurette to gain potential Darcsen recruits.

- Ah yes, Valkyria Revolutions. It's full of ideas and characters to use for fanfics at least.

- Yeah, Valkyria Chronicles 5 is likely to involve Vinland and Not!Japan if Azusa's ending is of any indication.

- I found a site where you can read the Wish your smile manga that features a darcsen engineer named Mintz and a sniper named Julius Klotz if you're interested. It's in French though, but at least you'll be able to more or less understand it if you're willing to invest enough time to type the words in google translate unlike Japanese.
