He had been called many things in his life. Nightwing. Monster. Talon. Son. Hero. Each title had been true, for a certain amount of time. Then he would shed it for the next role that 'destiny' assigned to him. But no matter what others called him, he would always be Dick Grayson. And one thing that Dick Grayson embraced...was that destinies did not exist.

Its been two years since Batman was forced to make an impossible decision, his city or his partner. Unfortunately, his partner didn't give him much choice. Now, a new villain has arisen, one that seems all too familiar for Bruce's likening. In order to take him down, he must focus on the one moment in his life he wishes he could forget.

The team has a new opponent: the Red Hood, a dangerous vigilante who manages to stay one step ahead of them. However, when a new foe is able to control the dead, Nightwing and Robin are forced to join forces with the young criminal. Not only the Red Hood knows a lot about the infamous Lazarus Formula, but Jason Todd's body, Dick's deceased Robin sucessor, has disappeared.

On a cold winter night, Bruce Wayne reunites with his three sons and Alfred as they watch a movie in the comfort of the Manor instead of fighting crime for a change. Outside, Jason Todd stands in the snow as he watches the happy family having a good time. Silently, the Red Hood leaves.

Richard has a tradition, he stays up all night on his sibling's birthday's to bake them a cake. It's Damian's turn, but Damian didn't want Dick's love. It's weak, pathetic, unacceptable.
