They lived in the sewers in a world which couldn't have been much worse if it had tried, yet somehow, they still thrived, sparks in the darkness of the world after the outbreak. The story of Ish and the sewer community, from the beginning to the end.

Fluff! When Sarah moves to California and leaves Miller Brothers Construction without a bookkeeper, Joel is stubborn enough to think he can take over for her. But even he realizes he needs a little help, which comes in the form of a continuing education class at a community college. He'd probably get a lot more work done in class if his young teacher wasn't so damn sexy...

To say that the city's method of heating buildings is sub-par nowadays is like saying that water is wet and fire is hot.

Some books should just never be read.

Through the course of the game there are quite a few time jumps in the narrative. This work of fiction tries to fill in the gaps and present the missed conversations Joel and Ellie may have had along the way. I will try my best to stay true to the character's unique voices and respect the relationship they have with each other at any given point in the game.

High school didn't prepare her for this. Tess's life between the outbreak and canon.

Joel made his choices with the Fireflies, and he swore to Ellie that it was true. But now with Marlene dead, the remaining Fireflies have a new leader and he's willing to do whatever it takes to bring Ellie back for the cure. Join Joel, Ellie, and their allies as they fight Infected and Non-infected to endure and survive...

"I'll tell you what's wrong," he bites out, "I should have left you in that god damned hospital. I should have gotten out of there the moment I could have. My biggest regret is not lettin' you die that day."

Things should be comfortable for them, here in Tommy's make shift town—but a warm bed to sleep in and food to eat every night doesn't change the fact that Ellie, by all means, should be dead. She still doesn't know what happened back in Salt Lake City, but she has a feeling she really doesn't want to know. She asks anyway.

As winter sweeps across Jackson, Ellie becomes distant an avoids the outside as memories from last winter in Colorado come back to haunt her. Joel, on the other hand, will do whatever it takes to get her to let go for good.

She wears the mask well, but it's only a mask, and a mask can be ripped off. As much as it hurts, as much as it stings to admit, she's been carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders for too long, and it's time to let go, let mankind fix itself. Easier said than done.
