Welcome to all bored or intrested enough to read this biography! Please feel free to enjoy or detest my work/personality/writing style/existence! As Shakespeare once said “Love me or hate me, both are in my favor...If you love me, I'll always be in your heart...If you hate me, I'll always be in your mind." Either way I win! So, on with the interductions...

I'm using the penname rachelandes so feel free to address me as such or, because it's blanatly obvious, as Rachel (my first name if you couldn't figure that one out).

I have very little experience with creative writing, usualy stringing words together into pretty papers for my teachers to read once, grade and forget forever. I'm hoping the stories I publish here will stick with my wonderful readers a little longer and maybe even make them smile (and favorite/follow them or me!) or feel something besides apathetic satisfaction at being one assignment closer to having all the grades in. Suggestions are WELCOME and APPRECIATED so feel more than free, feel compelled to type up a quick review to reward me my hours of effort.

Personality-wise I am a smart, non-judgemental (I hope so anyway. If I'm actually a hypocrite in that respect I'll be severely disappointed in myself and very impressed with society for somehow growing a conscience when I was looking away.) of individuals (groups are a different matter. The "mob mentality" can make you really stupid and accepting of idiotic and counterintuitive ideas), fairly articulate (you tell me), sassy, know-it-all kind of girl who can always be depended on to say the unexpected (but sensible) and provide stimulating conversation (on almost any subject. If I don't know what you're talking about I'll draw it into to something I'm knowledgeable in and blow you're mind while subtly confusing you).

I am currently a minor and a sophomore (10th grader) in high school but I'm entering a college program next school year so I'll essentially skip grades 11 and 12. That'll be fun.

My interests include science (the how parts not the whys), English (because I like it when people can understand what I'm saying. Elsewise (word I use in conversation that doesn't exist. Means otherwise. Deal with it) no one would be able to tell how smart and amazing I am (sarcasm, but I don't have a confidence problem so hit me with your worst criticisms), art (I try. Sometimes it looks nice. Never at first, but after twelve hours or so it starts to look okay (perfectionist).), and ensuing my continued breathing/livelihood. That's about it but I can make smart remarks on just about everything but politics (smart just doesn't really mesh well with those).

My writing will probably be decent, but I'm always looking for ways to improve. As far as category it'll likely be mostly anime and books, but that's not set in stone. Most of what I've written recently (and may post) has been crossovers between fairly obscure anime, or popular shows that don't usually get paired together. For genere... I don't write a lot of romance, though I do read it a fair amount. I just don't really "get" love enough to try imitating it and be happy with my product (introvert who has never dated and doesn't really have any inclination to change that. Also just not the kind of person who gets emotionally invested in a lot of things so writing drama where people get the feels is not my strong suite).

Things to mention should you notice them: spelling. I suck at spelling. I'm running this through spellcheck as I write it but the number of error it's finding is unsettling. I actually failed spelling, the subject, in the 4th grade and my spellcheck software doesn't always work. If you point out a spelling error in my piece I'll fix it immediately and be extremely grateful that you a) read it b) was paying enough attention to notice and c) helped me fix something for the benefit of my readers. I'll act on most other suggestions too so if there's something you want to see changed mention it. I'll either fix it and send you a thanks or consider it and tweak what I have but explain briefly in a PM why I prefer it as-is. The point is I'll appreciate the feedback. Thank you in advance.
