Status Update (08/29/2013): "It's A Long Story" Chapter 6 has been uploaded. :) Please support the series. I'm seriously having misgivings over it now due to the lack of response from readers. I'll continue writing it but I don't upload everything I write because there's really no point in me uploading something no one seems to like. If this lack of response continues, I might put this project on the backburner and focus on some of my other projects instead.

About me: I'm in my final year of uni, studying something that has absolutely nothing to do with writing. But I love writing and I love my OTPs. Combining these two loves leads to lots of fanfiction plots running through my head.

Personal Views & Musings

On Reviews: Being a reader and a writer, I realized how important it is to leave a review. It's more than just gratification and ego-stroking. Even a short "can't wait for the next update" means that all those hours of self-torture in front of a half-finished word document or notebook, all those moments of self-doubt about whether or not what you've written is even worthy of uploading, was worth it. Because someone somewhere out there read your work and liked it. So now, I try to leave reviews whenever I could, even if it means revisiting a story days later just so I can leave a review. So guys, you should do the same thing. Stop taking the quick easy way out of clicking a favourite or follow and leave some kind words behind too, please. :)

HOWEVER, I absolutely dislike people who deliberately hold chapters to ransom in favour of more reviews. A simple request for feedback, that's fine. But demanding x or y number of reviews before I next update - that turns me right off and no matter how good your story is, I'll stop reading, right there. Simple.

On OCs: Most of my obsessions are pairings so it sort of makes me boil with anger whenever someone deliberately inserts their own original character and break the pairings up, often depicting the other half of the pairing as a jealous cow with a hideous personality. I love my pairings and I will defend them with all I've got from my place in front of a computer keyboard. And no one is going to take that away from me.

However, I do tolerate OCs with unpaired characters within a fandom. But they have to be done well and not just turn out to be a Mary-Sue, which brings me to my next point.

On Mary-Sues: No, just don't even go there.

Tentative Project(s) that I'm thinking of (Titles Will Probably Change):

Doctor Who: Another story idea just popped into my head. Obviously Ten/Rose. I'm so tempted to write this as well but I know I won't have much time once the holidays are over. So maybe I should just focus on "It's a Long Story" first. But it's so tempting!!!!!

Final Fantasy VII: I've got 2 fics in my head, one for cloti and one for zaerith. Not sure when I'll ever get to writing them. I'll probably need to replay this game again just to refresh my memory.

Merlin: I've got two long fics in mind plus a one-shot idea. I've sort of started planning the ArMor fic and it's quite exciting. But not everything's sorted out yet and I'm still in the very beginning steps of it. Not sure when this will eventually come out. I don't know if I'm very good at multi-tasking writing projects.

Author's Note regarding Vampire Knight [22/07/2013]

I posted my first VK work back in 2011 and it's been a long but good 2 years. I still have heaps of plot bunnies in my head and I could most definitely continue writing them. But personally, I feel I've written enough portrayals of these two, covering the whole spectrum. The quiet Akatsuki & determined Ruka in Carpe Diem. The happy go lucky children in The Two Minute Rule. The AU fluff in Mine & Our Promise. The angst in Sunshower.

Time to move aside and let future writers show us their portrayal of Akatsuki x Ruka :)

If this note sounds like a farewell note, it sort of is. I fear if I don't stop know, I'll never move on, never progress, and eventually, I'll be posting stories that no one will bother to read because they end up being the same or worse, OOC. If there's one thing I don't want to do, that would be to outstay my welcome.

This may be the last you see of me in VK as a writer, but I'll still be around, both in the fandom itself and on FF in general. If you guys want to check out my other works, or just PM me and have a chat about VK and/or other stuff, feel free. I'll be around :)
