That was brilliant. Mickey was funny in some parts of it, and I loved when Rose went to Sarah-Jane.
Thing though: If Mickey or the Doctor had called Rose (the latter could of used the TARDIS phone), she would have picked up her mobile in that chapter.
Would you consider a sequel?

This was such a wonderful story and I was enthralled the entire way through! You have such a gift for letting your readers feel exactly what the character is feeling and go through it with them. So many times my heart broke for Rose and for the Doctor and was a mess by the end of this, but loved every bit of it. Absolutely brilliant!

Wow, this is wonderful! You're writing is amazing, and beautiful, and smooth, and absolutely precious. I've read a lot of stories about the aftermath of GitF, but this one is so beautiful. The story really incapsulates who Rose is, who the Doctor is, and who they are to each other.

This always makes me cry. It captures the emotional aftermath of the set up perfectly in my opinion.

I'm very fond of this. There are obviously a great many stories that deal with the Girl in the Fireplace episode, but this one sticks with me, not least because it gives Rose the awareness to recognise that the real issue she is dealing with isn't anything as petty as simple jealousy - and that she has the ability to act as well as just angst. I also like that it doesn't devolve into a blame game – just two people hurting, trying to protect themselves...and each other. I feel for both of them in this.

I first read it a while back, but I just felt like reading it again – and anything that's good enough to call me back, really deserves a few words to the author to say so.
