Author has written 4 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Game of Thrones, Switched at Birth, and Harry Potter. Hey, so I'm formaldehyde.corruption. Formaldehyde is actually a preservative chemical that artist Damien Hirst uses a lot in his works. I myself was an art student in college (which is when I made this account) and I was trying to figure out a penname and I had just done an artist research on him, so... I'm nineteen years old, which sounds way more mature than it feels. I am on the verge of moving into my university dorm so I can begin studying Engish Literature, which is sometimes exciting to think about, but mosty makes me so nervous I could be sick. The plan is to get a degree in English Literature and then either go back to become an English teacher myself, OR enroll myself in some creative writing classes and eventually become an author. My story Uphill and Against the Wind, a Percy Jackson story about how things might have gone had Percy been a girl who fell in love with Apollo, IS still in progress, despite the ridicuous amount of time it has been since I updated. The story attempts to take canon events and mould them around this alternate universe of what-if-Percy-was-a-girl. Additionally, the end of Mark of Athena opens a whole word of angst that I am excited about eventually getting to. My Game of Thrones story Family. Duty. Honour., is for the foreseeable future a one-shot. It was intended as a one-shot, but I purposely wrote it to be open-ended so that if I wanted to I could turn it into a full-length story. Other projects have caught my attention however, and I can't see that happening anytime soon. Out of Control is also still in progress, despite the long period between updates. And as I explain in the story, Fluminis antiquitas will not have a regular updating schedule. So basically, uni rules my life. Anyway, happy reading, and I hope that you're all doing well! |
