So, I started writing fan fiction way back on a neopets roleplaying forum, I migrated to which sadly closed. The "ending" the series had prompted my first forays into organised fan fiction that while cringeworthy to me now many years later, it was a decent enough start. I left fan fiction for years then, still writing my own short stories with one getting published in a small magazine.

I first started back into it with a Doctor Who short for a friend who was feeling low, shared it with a fellow fan who read it to his kids. (It was nice safe fare, 11 and Pond vs a monster that lives in reflective materials) The encouragement I had there pushed me to write more. After seeing Frozen I had to put some ideas to page and decided to just post!

I would one day love to have an actual book published, something I am working on. I consider fan fiction to be a method of honing my skills.
