Fit to Wear Red. What is a Grim Reaper, really? Madam Red learns the hard way that these divine beings are born of less-than-optimal circumstances, waking to find that she is tied to neither Earth nor Heaven, but to the in-between existence of a Grim Reaper.

Just as the fic's summary indicates, it involves Madam Red returning as a Grim Reaper, instead of properly passing on to the afterlife. Certain plot elements may border on an Alternate Universe (AU) tint, but the story also features known, canon principles.

Sadly, this story is not updated very often, but I still consider it an open project. I hope to eventually finish it, so feel free to subscribe so that you are notified of these rare updates.

My fellow fanfic writer Contramundi01 deserves special thanks for contributing to this fic. He devised many of the core plot points, edited dialogue, and even wrote certain scenes. His clever ideas provided me with a great trove of inspiration to write, and for that I am grateful.

CLOSED PROJECTS:

The Gentlemen's Christmas: Crossover fanfic. Kyoya Ootori (Ouran High School Host Club), Roy Mustang (Fullmetal Alchemist), Ronald Knox (Black Butler), and Shigure Sohma (Fruits Basket) gather for a "Secret Santa" gift exchange. Silly one-shot with Christmas spirit, written for a friend who challenged me to "write a random story," not knowing that she would receive this monstrosity in return. For the best experience, the reader should have basic knowledge of all four anime series.

One for the Lady. Possibly the most obscure Kuroshitsuji one-shot that you’ll ever see. Not only does it contain a heterosexual lemon (that in itself is atypical of the Black Butler fandom), but it features the most implausible pairing: Madam Red x Ronald Knox. The idea for the pairing stemmed from my other fic, Fit to Wear Red, which focuses on Madam Red and the Grim Reapers of London. I really started to like the idea of Ronald and Angelina together, so I wanted to spin their own tale, separate from the Fit to Wear Red storyline. Special thanks to Freyja Elizabeth, who helped in writing the foreplay and lemon.

The Color that I Loved the Most. This piece was originally written as a scene for my other fic, Fit to Wear Red. Upon completion of the scene, however, I realized that it actually worked quite well as a stand-alone one-shot, so I published it for the Madam Red x Grell fans, and I also used it as a teaser for Fit to Wear Red. It will remain on as a one-shot, in the event that some people do not enjoy the Fit to Wear Red storyline.

Forbidden Love: The Original Version. Before you begin reading this story, it is important for you to know that a revised edition of it was released on June 29, 2009. The new version is in no way a sequel or new storyline; rather, it keeps the main plot points intact. Its purpose is to turn the original story into an overall smoother, more sophisticated work. It accomplishes this through changes in dialogue, character, and detail. Some scenes were added, deleted, or altered. Having given you this information, I recommend that you visit the new version, as opposed to this one. This copy will remain on for any who prefers it to its newer counterpart, or any who wishes to seek the differences between the two.

Forbidden Love. Happy day! The new Forbidden Love has officially overtaken its predecessor in terms of overall number of page views! This is very good news. Even though this story has received only about half as many reviews as The Original Version, the page views serve as a testimony to the fact that people are reading it, and that it is just as popular as the old Seto x Serenity classic that inspired it.

I Wonder. Incomplete and discontinued. Nevertheless, it still receives reviews from time to time, and for that, I am grateful.

Fullmetal Alchemist / Black Butler

It all started one day when I went to an anime convention and bought two keychains: chibi Ciel Phantomhive and chibi Roy Mustang. When I held the keychains next to each other, I realized that Ciel and Mustang--with their dark hair in similar styles and their serious facial expressions--could totally pass for father and son. The more I thought about it, the more entertaining it became... Remember how, in Conqueror of Shamballa, Roy Mustang wore an eye patch? CLEARLY Ciel acquired that trait from Mustang. I mean, the tendency to require an eye patch is totally inheritable, right?

So, using FMA's "Gate" as a poorly explained plot device, it shall be revealed that "Other Mustang" actually lived in the 1800's under the name of Vincent Phantomhive!!! Yeah. It makes complete sense.

Elfen Lied / Ouran High School Host Club

Kurama from Elfen Lied is a guy with glasses that shine mysteriously. It's all too reminiscent of Kyoya Ootori from Ouran. Given the character designs, Kurama even looks like he could be an older Ootori brother. I mean, in the Ouran anime, we never get a good look at Kyoya's brothers' faces, so Kurama very well could have some relation to the Ootori family. Also, Kurama is intelligent and well-educated, and he has a neato job as a scientist / doctor. Sounds like something an Ootori would do. Obviously, Kurama is Kyoya's elder brother, meaning that Kyoya is actually the uncle of an insane, 5-year-old Diclonius child.

Because shut up.
