![]() Author has written 4 stories for Maximum Ride, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Hey, I'm Emmy. I like reading, writing, and theater. I don't like cold weather, excessively long profiles, or oranges. Among other things. I'm a little too fond of fictional worlds and characters, particularly Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia , Merlin, Death Note, and The Mortal Instruments. I guess I'm a bit of a Trekkie, too. I love writing, although my stories are never, ever finished, sadly. I tend to be better at writing imagery, emotion, character development: that sort of crap--which is weird, since I'm not an emotional person in real life, nor am I a people person (as evidenced by the fact that I write fanfiction in my spare time). Actual plot has never been my strong suit, so I write mostly short-to-medium length snapshots. If you're looking for a nice long story, you have come to the wrong place, my friend (although there are some longer chaptered fics in my Favorites that I highly recommend; from a variety of fandoms, not only the ones I named above). Another piece of literature that I highly recommend: the novel Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. It's highly underrated, in my opinion. The writing is absolutely gorgeous. Go read it. Now. And just so y'all know, I maintain a policy that any story of mine that is yet unfinished will always have the potential to become finished. Someday. I will never willingly discontinue a story, because I'm constantly playing around with ideas for my writing, both new and old, so please don't assume that I'll never come back to finish something. Keep that in mind, while you mull over the meaning of life and wait for me to update my stories. |
