![]() Author has written 13 stories for StarTrek: Enterprise. I'm a writer living in Texas and a fan of all things space-exploration and science-fiction. But, especially, I'm a lifelong fan of Star Trek. I watched TOS in reruns as a kid and wouldn't miss an episode of TNG when it first aired. I picked up my first Star Trek novel when I was twelve and have wanted to write my own ever since. I've watched and loved all the subsequent series (DS9, VOY, ENT) and movies and I'm thrilled about all the new series (Discovery! Picard! Lower Decks! Strange New Worlds! - it's a new golden era of Trek.) My favorite is Enterprise, for so many reasons: the NASA-like jumpsuits, the character backgrounds that were so close to my own lived experiences, the multi-cultural romance with all its misunderstanding between Trip and T'Pol. It was the first Trek show that I felt I could comfortably write for and it spurred my first foray into writing fan fiction. CURRENTLY WORKING ON: My newest is called Sins of the Fathers. The first quarter of the story is back from my betas and I'm doing my rewrites for chapter one. Soon! I'm pausing work on Adhesion (TnT), and A Tale of Two Crews (Ensemble) until SoTF is done, though the shorter Cenote (TnT) may get posted in the meantime. Note: I was also the ringleader of the Enterprise Twitterfiction group where, for four years, we told well-planned-out stories in a radio-play-like format, interspersed with ad-libbed improv and the occasional breaking of the fourth wall - all at 140 characters at a time. Characters were slightly exaggerated because of the nature of the medium for storytelling and the collaborative process with other author's styles and preferences. The stories themselves ran the gamut from original to cliched, from serious to silly and from believable to ridiculous in the blink of an eye. For more info, see our Guide (http:///about/). |
