Profile Picture: Lancer punches Shinji (ROFLMFAO) Hi, I'm Archdemon Slayer! One thing about me: I LOVE anime! This whole cerebelitis thing has realy left me pissed. I can no longer do anything that involves walking or keeping my balance. And I can't write well anymore. My eating and talking are nowhere NEAR what it used to be, and my typing has regressed to 5 words a minute instead of 50 something like how it was before this happened. And not even scratching the surface on the sight problem. My vision goes blurry every now and then and I have to wait for it to fix itself, and it happens more often at night and my vision doesn't stay as long, and I don't have it at ALL when I'm sleepy. I'm finally able to yell at my dog and brother, though with some difficulty This started back on September 21st, 2014, and I go back to school in the 23rd of March. Since then, I have been put in 2 hospitals, the first was for 17 days and where I had my surgery and was used practically like a human pincushion and I fasted for a week after my surgery, since I wasn't hungry as I was hooked up to glucose IVs, and the second was for about a month. Both time felt like HELL! I also had a total of 5 MRI's, 2 CT scans, and countless vials of blood taken. Right now, I'm in out-patient rehab, though for schoolwork I'm having a tutor. This all started at the beginning of the week at school and I would have these awful headaches every other day and on the days I didn't have headaches I would have severe dizziness. It got so bad that I went to the school nurse on Tuesday since I was so dizzy I couldn't see the Smart Board the previous hour 3rd hour Trigonometry, and she was seeing someone else, so she told me to wait in the hall for her. Soon, my legs gave out under me and the nurse had me lay down on the bed. I ended up having to be sent home. On Thursday, I took it easy in Tae Kwon Do and did 1st class instead of 2nd. On Friday in Gym is when the double vision started and in Anatomy, the pencil felt heavier and my handwriting looked off. on Sunday, I couldn't keep water down,I lost my ability to balance, and my talking was really off, so in the afternoon, I was taken to the emergency room and then by ambulance to the hospital where I found out what I had. The doctors took an interest in me, since how the cerebelitis was caused had never happened before. My antibodies killed off a virus and started attacking the cerebellum, causing it to swell and push on my spine, causing the headaches and dizziness. I would have died several days later if it wasn't treated,though I had to give up going to school, the ACT's, and holding out for a job at Gamestop when they started hiring in the winter. Many times I was hoping the whole cerebelitis thing was just a big nightmare. We had thought at first it was just migraines, and I though the whole headache and dizziness thing would clear up in a week. Now,there's one hell of a medical bill and I, aggravatingly, got money 3 times from the school. I got a few hundred from Student Council, then some from a fundraiser, and then $300 from the school itself. Update: My typing is a little faster, but not like it used to be. I still can't walk (if I could, I would have announced it), and I'm close to getting my Associate's in Arts. Also my laptop is totally dead (it has full charge but it won't turn on. It was old anyway. I'm using my phone for them mostly.)
