I'm back. I know it's been a while, but college, you know. Anyway, I went ahead and deleted my old stories since I'm no longer working on them. I went ahead and posted my newest story, Language of Numbers. I'll place its extended summary below for anyone who wants to read it.

Stranded: I just check the activity for the story today, and I have to admit that I'm blown away by how many people have read the story. I'm just absolutely astounded by the response the story has been getting. Chapter two should be up momentarily, and I have started on chapter three. Thank you to everyone for the favorites, follows, and reviews. I hope to get more as the story progresses.

Language of Numbers extended summary: The death of Agent Viktor Mihailov, who works in the linguistics department, brings Don in direct conflict with Agent Cheyenne Lynn, the head of the linguistics department. During the course of the investigation, Don and the team uncover questionable financial practices by Agent Lynn that forces Don to ask questions the woman doesn't want to answer. Meanwhile, Liz, who is close to Agent Lynn, and Colby, trying to keep Liz from going through the same thing that he did with Dwayne Carter, are trying to find Agent Mihailov's boyfriend. Who killed Mihailov, Agent Lynn or his boyfriend? What will this investigation and their split focus do to the team?

Surprise!: It's a small one shot that I thought up while watching Season 5 of the show over again. In episode 15, David says, "Just once, I wish there was a surprise party and not one of these ominous open doors." It was an amusing idea to me so I decided that I would give him just that. Of course, it doesn't quite turn out like he wants it too, and he doesn't quite remember his previous comment.

Update: The start of Language of Numbers is taking far longer that I expected. So far, I'm at seven chapters, but it will probably take, at least, ten to move on to the next part. Originally, this section was only suppose to be a chapter, maybe two, long, and it's starting to bore and aggravate me. I want this section over with! ARGH! Anyway, that's the reason for the delay on the new chapters. Sorry about that.

Author's Bio: I started writing in high school though most of the stories I wrote then are haven't been touched in a while. I went to college, developed my writing skills more, and received my bachelor's degree in creative writing. Now, I'm out in the real world looking for a job and writing in my spare time. I wanted to restart this account because I no longer have the panel of readers that I could get from my creative writing classes in college, and I need opinions about my works. I hope to keep this going better than the last time I created it and try to post new chapters on a regular basis, which, unsurprisingly, I'm not. Sorry about that. Really I am, but I have a really bad habit of only writing when and what I feel like. It's something I'm trying to work on.
