I am female and I will likely update sporadically unless I have already completed a story. Life makes it such.

I am at a Canadian university and therefore most of my stories will use Canadian spellings and likely a number of North American (if not outright Canadian) sayings/references. If you want an explanation, just ask.

There is a special place in my heart for 'incidental' and 'oneshot' characters. I will likely wind up expanding on existing incidental/oneshot characters in various universes.

I enjoy creating OCs. You will see OCs in my stories. As well as AUs and crossovers, which I adore writing.

Constructive criticism is much appreciated. As are reviews in general.

Flames are unnecessary. Keep them to yourself and roast some marshmallows, melt some chocolate or make some toast. You might just be hungry.

Second-Born: WIP. Azula-centric crossover between Avatar: the Last Airbender (cartoon) and The Avengers (film). When Loki lands in the territory of the Phoenix King, Azula suddenly has to deal with intergalactic relations, creatures attempting to seduce Death, the unrealized power on her own planet and the prospect of conquering the cosmos. Definitely AU, especially for A:tLA. Mind the rating kiddies, it's there for a reason. Status: Attempting to reconcile the various other films into this fic.

The Merciless and the Unstoppable, Ilah: COMPLETED. Oneshot for Avatar: the Last Airbender (cartoon). A quick, concise, sharp musing on who Fire Lady Ilah was and her relationship with the Royal Family of the Fire Nation.

Maelstrom: WIP. AU, obviously, with Rule63!Aqualad from Young Justice (cartoon). This is more of an experiment for me than anything and will take a variety of ideas from a variety of worlds, ideas which I claim no ownership over unless otherwise noted. Originally written for myself and now being used as a fill for a prompt on the YJAnon Meme. Mind the rating, it's there for a reason. Status: Outline has vanished so am working on re-building that

Blood Kin: COMPLETED. A oneshot Young Justice (cartoon) companion piece to Maelstrom. Highly recommended that you read it before reading Sha'lain'a 5 of Maelstrom. It focuses on Daphne-turned-Gina, and a few new OCs, as well as an important group for season 2 of Young Justice.

Not a Mermaid: COMPLETED. Collection of drabbles/oneshots for Young Justice (cartoon), in honour of Kaldur Week 2012 (Sept 29/30-Oct 7). Various chapter ratings. All take place in my Maelstrom-verse.

Son of the Blood Warrior and Undersea Pirate: COMPLETED. Oneshot taking place before "The Fix" of Young Justice from Black Manta's perspective when his son is hurt by Miss Martian. Canon-compliant.

Caped Communications: COMPLETED. Young Justice (cartoon) oneshot about Catherine Cobert's first few hours at work. A civilian in a world of secretive, spandex-wearing superheroes.

The Warriors of the Deities: COMPLETED. Multi-chapter crossover between Class of the Titans (cartoon) and Young Justice (cartoon). AU. It takes place in its own little universe, separate from all of my other stories. I posted a prompt for this on the YJAnon Meme and wound up filling it myself.

Installment 2 - Ambassador: COMPLETED. Oneshot. Director Nick Fury wasn't always Director Nick Fury. There was a time when he was new and just learning about the teenage Ambassador of Earth.

Installment 3 - Aliens and Freaks: COMPLETED. Oneshot. Mertle Edmonds can't watch Sci-Fi or Fantasy anymore.

Prospective Stories:

(emphasis on "prospective." none of these are sure things.)

The Dragon Queen: An epic centered around the actions of Medelia, the descendent of Medea, from the cartoon Class of the Titans. Built off the quote from Euripedes' Medea: "on victory's road have I set forth". Working Summary: Medelia dreams in green of relentless fury and chilling fear, of concoctions and spells and warriors unparalleled. She knows Ancient Greek now and remembers children that died centuries before. Medea’s spirit rests in her medallion, and with Hecate’s power hovering above her and her sisters standing beside her, Medelia steps forth to seize her birthright, reinvigorate the Queendom of the Amazon Warriors, and raise an army to work alongside the prophesized descendents to defend the mortal world from the God of Time.

Untitled: A possible epic focused on what comes from: (1) studying political science; (2) being on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s and The Avengers radar; (3) doing fist-bumps with the God of Thunder; (4) spending the past 2 years as an unpaid research assistant/intern for a scientist not at all in your field; and (5) being disarmingly resourceful and perceptive. Pulls material from all over the Marvel Cinematic Universe (films: Iron Man (I/II/III), Thor (I/II), The Avengers, Hulk) plus Marvel Comics to flesh out Darcy Lewis.

Untitled: MCU and X-Men Films crossover. The adventures of Jane Terese Foster Flores (aka genius and aether host), Darcy Abigail Lewis (aka Abigail Brand before she became Abigail Brand), Clarice Lily Ferguson (aka she who makes portals that look disarmingly similar to the one that showed up above NYC what is up with that), and Lila Isabelle Cheney (aka the Terran-born interstellar rock star who is in the strange situation of keeping Jane, Darcy and Clarice out of trouble while in space when she's usually the trouble) as they try and keep the universe from unraveling (again), aid Terra's transition into xenodiplomacy, and possibly deal with the Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos along the way.

The Readjustment Initiative: An MCU and X-Men Films crossover. The Frost International and X-Corp joint Readjustment Initiative for people who were brought back from the dead or returned to their own life after being brainwashed (telepathic or otherwise) was created by the former Four Horsemen of Apocalypse two years after the Apocalypse War of 1983. Six months after waking up in 2012, Captain Rogers meets Dr. Lara Silverhowl (the eldest daughter of Kayla Silverfox and Logan Howlett) of the Readjustment Initiative. (Basically a way for me to reconcile the MCU and X-Men Films canons post-DOFP into something comprehensive.)
