Decided to finally get rid of "The Plan" as it seems to have gone awry just a bit lately. Plus it seems to be confusing people as to whether or not those stories exsist. They do not. Yet. I'm hoping to get back to the MIverse sometime soon but first I have to get the Batman and Teen Titan bugs out of my system. Hope you guys are at least enjoying those for the time being.

There is another reason I decided to update this page today. Because today, marks two anniversaries for me here on FF.N. The first, and most important, being my actual arrival here. That was ten years ago here today. Ten years! Good God! It simply doesn't feel like it. I mean, really how time flies. I remember stumbling onto this site a few months before signing up and looking through it before I finally decided to post my old Beast Wars fics after the decline and eventual demise of the old Beast Wars Anonymous site that originally housed my fics. So say they were poorly recieved is...a bit of understatement. Hell of a lot of them still have single digit views and reviews. I guess back over on BWA I was a big fish in a small pond and here I'm just a little fish in a big pond.

But I continued on. My love of writing could not be detered. I pounced around from various fandoms, some Tenchi, some Kenshin, some Digimon and even Teen Titans. None of them where what you would consider "hits". They kind of floated around in the ether of the site here and got a few reviews and faves here and there but nothing special. That is until, I decided to write for a little show called Kim Possible.

This brings me to my second anniversary. It's been five years since I posted my first KP fic here on FF.N. "But Blackbird, you didn't post Maternal Instinct until February in 06," you might say. And you're right! I didn't post my most famous, and longest, fic until February back in 2006. But here's a fun fact that wasn't my fic KP fic! Nope that honor went to this tiny, weird little crossover fic called "Dynamic Coaching" which featured Kim, the Tweebs and Coach McQurik from Home Movies. It was something just fun and kinda stupid that I originally did for my old Live Journal account and decided to post here on a whim. To my surprise, a few people actually liked it. Then I went on to right "Time" to get another odd idea out of my head.

Then it happened. I got into KiGo fanfics and a small idea became to take root in my brain. A tiny little seed that would eventually grow into my magnum opis, "Maternal Instinct" and launch a whole universe. Originally it was only supposed to be one fic and just something to get out of my way so I could get back to my Teen Titans fic. But, things rarely go the way you want them to and before I knew it I had 24 KP fics under my belt, five years in the section and a ton of new friends and fans. To say it was unexpected is again an understatement. I don't know if I'll ever be able to say how much I appreciate all the kind words and support you guys have given me over the years. Especailly all you guys at the Slash Haven. I honestly don't think I'd have written as much KP stuff as I did without your support and kind words. Hopefully I'll come back to my KP fics here soon.

So ten years on FF.N. I suppose that makes me a bit of a veteran, huh? Hell I remember the early days of this site. I've seen many people come and many people go. I've seen enter sections disappear and too many site revamps to count. I've been on the bottom and I've been on the very top. It's been a very long, strange ride but an enjoyable one nonetheless. Maybe I'll be here in another ten years. Maybe by then I'll be a professional writer. Who knows? Certainly not me. Never would have guess I'd still be here in ten years. Funny how things work out sometimes, huh?

Well I guess I've rambled on long enough. Again thank you to all my fans and supporters. I hope I've kept you all entertained this past decade and I hope I can continue to do so in the coming years.
