Wow! It has been a while!

Let's see... Where to start off...

Well, I'm still alive and kicking. It's just that college has been busy for me, especially since it'll be my senior year soon. I had originally writen a few chapters of a lot of my stories including Fragile Heart and Kami no Itte. However, my laptop was stolen a few years ago, and since then I have lost the will to continue to write more fanfics. Don't get me wrong though; I still visit every once in a while to catch up with my favorite stories, but I just haven't writen anything in a while.

As I'm looking over my work (and reading a few reviews), I realize that it's going to be hard for me to continue writing as I did then. To be honest, I'm surprised I wrote so badly. I might rewrite a few chapters, but I think the majority of people will want to know what happens next in my stories rather than wait a bit longer. However, I suspect I won't be continuing any time soon. That does not mean I won't continue. I maintain that WILL finish writing all of my stories before leaving the fanfiction world completely. I simply don't like leaving things half done. The question of when I will write is uncertain.

I started writing a lot of my fanfics when I was 16-17 years old, when I was a junior in high school. Now, I'm a junior in college going on my senior year. If all goes well, I'll be graduating in May with a Biochemistry and English Writing double major. I don't exactly consider myself a good writer. I usually like to read the works other people post up rather than write it myself, which is probably part of the reason why I don't update as often as I would like. The other part is that I have school, but I try to find time for my reviewers.

COMPLETED WORKS COMMENTARY:

Inuyasha

A Field of Roses = This was my first one-shot. The idea for this story came to me when I was in the bathroom. (Don’t ask me how. Don’t ask me why. Quite frankly, I don’t have the slightest clue.) Although I thought the story was really romantic and the theme was really interesting, I don’t consider this my best work because my grasp of the elements of writing during that time was weak (and it still is). Unfortunately, I am a very lazy person, so there quite possibly won’t be a revised edition of this story (although I did revise it once before for a very small grammar problem). Even so, this one-shot had been known to make people cry at the end and screaming for a sequel.

Kiss from a Rose = I did not plan on making this sequel when I first wrote A Field of Roses, because sadly, I usually find sequels to be disappointing. At first I was going to leave out the last part where Rin's children are listening to her story, but then I thought my readers might get a sense of unfulfillment if I left it at Sesshoumaru disappearing. I also wanted to keep the theme of roses for the sequel, and after the success of "The Business Engagement aka Date," I decided to make this story into a song fic. The song I picked, Seal's Kiss from a Rose, is one of my favorite songs. I even had the song playing as I was writing this fic. I felt that it gave me inspiration and motivation to finish the story. However, I thought this story was overly sappy, even for me. Again, I don't consider this to be my greatest work.

UNFINISHED WORKS COMMENTARY:

Inuyasha

Fragile Heart = This was my first Inuyasha fanfic ever. Currently, it is also my most popular fanfic. (That's probably because it's the only fanfic that I have been working on.) I have most of the story completely thought out in my head, so all I have to do is type it out and post it on . A lot of work has been put into this fanfic (I even consulted my annoying brother to give me his input.); although now that I read it over again, I find that it could have been much better. Oh well.
Note: Please disregard "my motto: LITTLE / NO REVIEWS = NO NEW CHAPTER / DELETE FAN FICTION." What can I say? It was my first fanfic, and I was afraid no one would like it or review. If I knew I was usually going to get 20+ reviews per chapter, I would probably never put that. I was young.

Sesshoumaru's Dilemma = Deleted.

Beauty and the Youkai = This fanfic was based on Teresa Medeiros's The Bride and the Beast. I found the novel both charming and romantic, and I thought it would be a good challenge for me to try to put Sess and Rin's characters into the story. Even though I will be incorporating some of the plot/story line into the fanfic, I WILL NOT plagiarize. Personally, I find plagiarism morally wrong, and by plagiarizing it shows great disrespect to the original author. I AM proud to say that I have reported quite a few people because I found them plagiarizing other people's work.

Hikaru no Go

Kami no Itte = The Hand of God is my first Hikaru no Go fanfic. I'm not exactly sure where I want to go with this story at this point, but I do plan on doing some research on Go. I play Go sometimes; however, I'm still a beginner. I'm actually trying to learn it myself, but I'm finding it very difficult. Hopefully, by writing this story my understanding and playing style of Go will also improve. I plan to take Hikaru to China, Korea, and make a huge comeback to Japan! I'm very excited about this story. I only hope it will be as engaging as the anime and/or manga.
