Thank you for this wonderful fanfic. I read it once in the past, but I think I didn’t finish it back than. It started quite slow and developed really nice in the middle and to the end. I loved how you worked on the characters, the plot twists and how the story ended. Only I believe you got the names of the twins wrong: Eriya is the blonde, Naria the silver one.

Although this story has long been finished, I only found it now and I felt like I needed to leave a review, because it was one of the best things I have ever read.
It gave me so many intense emotions, I sometimes had to stop reading and control my breath for several minutes or even get up and walk around because it was just too much for me to handle. Armand is the best OC ever and he was my favourite character throughout this adventure. Your writing style is so pleasant, the whole outline for the story was well done and the characters, though a bit different from their canon counterparts, were always "in-character" in your story. I highly enjoyed the development they made. Truth be told, I was a bit disappointed that our main heroine was not really the focus of the story any longer after about a third to a half in, but that’s really about it. The way your write erotic scenes is so.. powerful and passionate. I love reading about this kind of intimacy without it turning into smut. So, even if I am late to the party, well done!
After this story, I continued reading your other Escaflowne work 'Commodity', which has such a unique and interesting concept. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated in a while and just when it was beginning to get so dramatic! (I assume it was going into a direction of “Prince of Dragonkin Others reduced to a pleasure slave and Armand found out because of the fighting style) :0
Oh damn, how I wish you would continue it!
I still put it on alert because I surprisingly often made the experience that authors come back to their awesome works even after a longer time.

My god, this has been one incredible journey and an amazing read that I thoroughly enjoyed! Escaflowne is one of my all time favorites and this story did it justice from start to end! The setting, characters and story just dragged me in and I could not stop thinking about it until I finished reading it! i just feel there are still a few questions unanswered, for example, what happened with the Slena princess, who took care of her, and who was the mysterious person who told Van about all that stuff?

I don't care how many times I've read this. I'll read it and read it, and fall in love with it again and again.

That was a really great story. I just found it 4 days ago and since I have small child I don't manage to read so often, so I really cut down my sleeping time since I was curious on how this would end. When I woke up during the night I started thinking over what would happen next
Really great story and very well developed I enjoyed it a great deal . Only thing I thought lacked a bit was Hitomis strong side, I felt she was basically always crying and never really acting.

It literally took me until this chapter to realize that Armand is Amano. Wonderful job switching the roles on that and having him be the one who almost has some identity confusion when it comes to Hitomi.

This is still one of my favourite Esca stories of all time. I just finished binge reading it again (couldn't put it down!) and I just wanted to commend you for such a great story. I can't imagine how those imagination playing inside my head about this AU love story of Van and Hitomi could actually written this make my dreams come true and I'm so delighted that you shared it with us. This is a reality to me and I wanted to believe it. It's well constructed and well entertaining, natural and easy to relate with. I fall in love with this characters more and more. Escaflowne had always been my all time favorite story that I end up wishing to be in that place and experiencing how good to live the world of Gaea.(except for the war of course,that's to unnerving).Van and Hitomi love story is truly inspiring.

Wow, this story is so amazing that it only took me 2 days to read it all (and I don't even speak english as first language!) Great job! Even if the story is different from anime version, I really appreciated it. I loved the characters, especially Van! I just would have liked to know something more about Folken and the reason he decided to ally with Serena... Except for that, I really loved the whole story, it's very well structured too!

It took me days to finish this story, but I could not put it down. Usually i do not read AU. EVER. This is the only exception. I think your own characters are some of the best developed ones I've ever read in a fan-fiction piece before. And I've been reading for over ten years.
I absolutely love Armand, and his witty remarks, I could just imagine him in my mind. The story is gripping, well worked out and easily holds up against the original! Fantastic job!
