This focuses primarily on how Bates's incarceration affects the household, and how they intend to get him released, but has some interesting little side trips that have nothing to do with that at all. A little something for everyone with a healthy dose of the supernatural.

Margaret finds Mr. Thornton after their confrontation at the exhibition allowing them to develop a tentative post-proposal friendship. Will their relationship be strong enough to overcome the heartache and deceit that is to come? Both book and mini-series based.
