January 17th, 2015 (!)

The last update was in February of 2012. It's January of 2015. Holy, I can't believe where the time has gone. Ah, yikes!

First of all, I am so sorry about the absence. I honestly don't have much of an explanation for it! I wish I had something excusable to say, but I really can't. Although, I'll do my best. I think a bit after my last updates, I had writer's block. Couldn't think of what to write, couldn't think of anything, really. It kind of became a chore, especially with school. And even after school ended that year, it was a little difficult to get back into the rhythm of things. And then, as you guys may have seen on here...computer crashed. Along with whatever scraps of updates I had for TFD & Close to Heaven.

Put me off having to write it again...I definitely have problems with maintaining writing, boo.

At the end of 2014, I saw a little notification pop up in my emails - from here, actually, on one of my Beyblade stories. It kind of motivated me to reread some of TFD, and a few of my other stories. I think it had been such a long time that I literally forgot everything I wrote...so sad. This notification also made me want to re-watch Beyblade again. So, after the term ended in December, I did just that. And I fell in love with all the characters again (fell in love with Tyson/Hilary again). Re-reading my favourite TyHil stories also made me miss them quite a bit...haha. :)

It made me want to write something, which is why there's something posted today. I don't really know what that something is though, it seems like a mess, and I'm not sure if I like it that much. Worked on it for probably 2/3 weeks now (just chipped away at it) but I didn't even edit it so...aaaaah. But...TyHil.

The gist of this message is basically: I'm really sorry for not being on here much at all. Since then, I've graduated from university (how?) and joined another four-year program in Optometry (also how?) so needless to say, it'll be busy.

But I still wanted to say how much I love this site, and how much it helped me. It was a stress-reliever during my first year at university, and it introduced me to so many beautiful pieces of writing. It also got me into other shows/anime. Honestly, joining this place was one of the greatest decisions I made. Mostly because of all the readers and the people in the fandom.

Hope this cleared things up...I hope that I'll be back on here soon, someday! I started a chapter for TFD, but writer's block (ugh) so I have no idea when or if that'll get done any time soon.
