![]() Author has written 7 stories for Skip Beat!. Something very disturbing has come to my attention. On a website called Wattpad there is a girl passing my story As You Wish off as her own. Her name is ArceusIsMyGod or Yassmine Al-amrie and she even had the gall to leave an author's note on the last chapter that she would update if she got more reviews. Obviously she can't update until I do so unfortunately until the forgery is taken down and I can ensure that none of my other stories are floating around out there under someone else's name, As You Wish will not be updated and I will be cautious about the other stories I post. So I haven't really been updating much *cough* at all *cough*. Just know that I haven't forgotten about my stories but my mind has just been pretty scattered lately worrying about real life stuff and it's becoming harder for me to calm my thoughts enough to focus my creative energy into more chapters. I have not vanished. I know when my favorite authors stop updating I tend to worry that they've moved on and given up on fanfiction. I will be back with a vengeance and even more stories that I've started but haven't posted for fear of just giving you guys more things to wait impatiently for. If you don't think it could possibly be as bad as I'm making it out to be, consider this. The number of incomplete stories on my author's profile: Three. The number of incomplete stories on my computer: Nine. Yes, it's summer and the plot bunnies are mating and multiplying. *sigh* I think I'll be happier than you guys when I write everything down and finish all my stories. Then I might take a break but I'm not entirely set on that. Feel free to send me messages and questions even if it's just to tell me you're tired of waiting and want an update. I tend to respond to threats because they make me laugh. I also don't suffer from high and mighty syndrome so if you wanted to write something random that's cool too. Hopefully I'll be able to figure everything out and be back soon. Until then, there's plenty of other talented authors out there not going through a writing drought so keep reading and I'll see you around. Things I realized while writing Skip Beat fan fics: (List will continue to grow as time progresses) 1. The first chapter is the easiest. 2. Ebay is an evil demon that calls to me and pulls me in when I should be writing. 3. Not getting tired until 7am Does make me an insomniac. 4. When I get bored I like to randomly try on clothes and mix and match outfits. 5. Almost everything in my closet is either black, white, or grey. 6. Fudge ice-cream bars are a girl's best friend. 7. Anxiously waiting for reviews to come in is an incurable obsession. 8. Rum and pineapple juice are strangely inspiring when writing at 3 am, but sadly they also make me sleepy which means I have to drink and then rush to get the inspiration written before I give in to my increasingly heavy eyelids. Manga I'm reading at the moment are: Skip Beat!, Kimi Ni Todoke, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Kyou Koi Wo Hajimemasu, and Wallflower. I'm looking for more to read and people keep telling me to try Naruto but the fact that it's already on like chap. 5 million makes it intimidating. I may get around to it in the future. Update: I am also now reading/ have read: Faster Than a Kiss, Honey X Honey Drops, Kuragehime, Ao No Exorcist, D. Grayman, One Piece, The One, and I'm planning to start reading Fairy Tale. I've had a couple people suggest more which have been added to the list of future reads so if you have anything that you love and you think I will too please let me know. P.S.- DON'T READ OR WATCH BOKURA GA ITA. IT WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO KILL SOMETHING! SERIOUSLY! FIRST IT WAS FUNNY, THEN IT WAS SWEET, THEN IT WAS DEPRESSING, THEN IT WAS FRUSTRATING, AND NOW IT'S JUST STUPID. IF YOU ARE LIKE ME AND DON'T LIKE SHOUJO MANGA OF THE PATHETIC GIRL WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHEN TO MOVE ON FROM THE UNHEALTHY NON-RELATIONSHIP VARIETY, DON'T READ IT! Now that my rambling is done for the evening, feel free to scroll down and explore what I've written and a few things I've read and loved. Later! |
