![]() Author has written 3 stories for Mysterious Benedict Society series, and Cats. "What good is insanity if it is understood?" -PhantomPenguin, Children at Heart Hey. Lets just cut to the chase. I've sort of dropped writing as a hobby altogether, therefore I haven't been updating any of my stories. I promise I'm still alive - it's just that other things have come up, and in the little free time I have I prefer to do things other than writing. It's never been a major interest of mine, and the only real reasons I joined Fanfiction were to improve my skills for education purposes and subscribe to/review stories. I sincerely apologize to (my "s" key on my keyboard just fell off...) anyone who was expecting updates on my stories or new ones from me. It may happen someday, but don't wait around in case it doesn't. Hello, nice to meet you. Stalk me? My Stories~ A note to my readers, whom I appreciate greatly; I do not update my stories often, and I am incredibly and impossibly sorry about that. I, being the procrastinator that I am, seem to find little time for writing and even less time for publishing. But fear not, as I am dedicated to serving you and you will, eventually, get the next installments of my works. Thank you for your patience! (edit10.14.11 *coughcough*maybe. o /// o) The following is a description of my stories along with the current status of each one. Note: The statuses may not be up-to-date. Don't hold me to whatever they might say- if you are unsure about the accuracy, either PM me or check the story yourself. Completed Always Loved - A hurt/comfort-friendship fic based on Trenton Lee Stewart's Mysterious Benedict Society. It was also my first-ever published on the site. In short, the story takes place in the middle of the night, at the Benedict house. The dear Constance Contraire takes up the role of narrator as she shows a much softer side, one much unlike her usual snarky and stubborn self. The only characters really involved are Reynie and Constance, who share the spotlight. I'm fairly happy with how this turned out, but if you'd do me the kindness of reading it and stating your own opinion, I'd be extremely appreciative. (Warning- this particular oneshot turned out far more emotional than I had originally intended, so, despite the fact that it ends on a higher note, I wouldn't recommend reading it if you're feeling down.) In-Progress An Exchanging of Letters - My second published fic and it is also based off of the 'Mysterious Benedict Society' series. This one also stars miss Constance, but she is now sidled up with sir Sticky instead of Reynie. The entire story is, as the title says, 'an exchanging of letters' between Mr. Washington and Miss Contraire. Prepare for poetry, name-calling, and classic Sticky/Constance banter. This was originally meant to be just simple and humorous. Rude Awakenings - I'm considering whether or not to simply remove this one, as I don't have the time nor the will to write for it and it simply seems kind of silly, to be honest. Coming Soon (Title Undecided) - An 'Alice in Wonderland' fic, Tim Burton-verse. I've only just begun to write this and the idea itself is still very much a work in progress, but as an amuse-bouche I'll tell you this; the Hatter's got a daughter. (winkwink) If you have any questions, concerns, ideas, suggestions, or comments about anything noted here, please feel free to send me a message. Remember to review, review, review! "She slammed down on the chords, plodded over the keys, but her voice was high and clear, talking about more than being used, being rejected. How when you love someone, sometimes it means that they strip you down, peel you open, and you have to let them and not worry about how much it's going to hurt." -Brenna Yovanoff, The Replacement. |
