Nice idea. Kate befriending S.Q. is a good idea. This is very believably done, though the song words might be italicized for clarity. I've never heard of the song before, but judging by the words, it's very applicable.

Question; What does lithium(As in the actual metal) have to do with the song? Or the story, for that matter.

Also, what does AU stand for? Just thought I should ask.

Oh, this was lovely. I listened to the song while I was reading and I think it fit very well.

I wish there were more fics on here with S.Q. in them. He would have done so much better in the books had this actually happened.
