Hello from beautiful Washington State in the northwest corner of the United States,

I got the writing bug when I was about 35 years old. I know, right? A late bloomer for sure.I started writing screenplays and TV Treatments a few years ago, but I love Fanfiction. It lets me spend an hour or two a day writing about my favorite characters and where I would like them to go if I was writing for the show. I love all the reviews. They spur me on. It's really cool to know there are folks all over the U.S. and the world who read my work.

I taught theater at the college level for 7 years and love to act. I didn't start the writing until my thirties of course. I have a teenage boy who writes for anime fanfiction and we talk about writing whenever we get a chance. He wants to write for video games when he gets out of college. My pen name comes from his love of zebras from when he was a very little boy.

I am always surprised when I talk to folks who have never heard of fanfiction. I send them to the website and tell them to read my stories and have recommended many of you as authors as well. I read at least one fanfic a day and of course my first loves are Law and Order SVU, Hawaii Five-0, Rookie Blue and Necessary Roughness. I can only hope that what I write for fanfiction will some day actually be a possibility for these characters. I know you all want the same. In the meantime we just keep writing our dreams.
