Author has written 6 stories for Cantarella, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. Gender: Female Birthday: September 7 (Virgo) Chinese Zodiac: Rabbit Interests: Reading, writing (obviously), playing piano, listening to music, and crafts (specific medium depends on my mood). As for reading, while I like some manga, I also like novels, particularly fantasy. I'm not really that into romance as a genre. I like it a lot of times in the context of a larger story, but not usually when it's the only focus. (I get bored with all the gushing.) My favorite type of relationship to read about is actually a best friend relationship. Favorite books: Lord of the Rings, Artemis Fowl (any and all), Harry Potter (especially books 1, 3, 5, and 7), The Chronicles of Narnia (any and all), Percy Jackson (any and all), The Queen's Thief Series, The Folk Keeper, Skellig... the list goes on, but I won't bore you. As you can see, I have a bias toward books that come in series, mostly because I don't like to stop reading a story once I've started. Or writing it. So any fanfics I post will probably be ridiculously long. Favorite anime/manga: Fruits Basket, Saiunkoko Monogatari, Rurouni Kenshin, Bleach, Naruto, Gakuen Alice, and some others I can't think of off the top of my head, but might fill in later. As a side comment, Cantarella is sort of an iffy manga. I really liked it at first, particularly since it seemed to be a best friend relationship, until it was TOTALLY RUINED, which is why I've been writing fanfiction for it... Also, Cantarella is iffy because I actually don't like shonen-ai, and running into it was kind of an accident, which is another reason I've been trying to write my way around it. Favorite genres: Shoujo (when there's not too too much fluffy romance), Shonen (when there's actually relationships), Children's, and Josei Genres I don't like: Hentai, Ecchi, Shonen-ai, Yaoi, Yuri... and basically anything else that gives me mental images I really don't want to see. I have to be really careful about what I read, since I've got a vivid imagination, and it usually takes a while to get mental images out of my head, especially when they're the ones I don't want. Just figures. Fics I've written: Ebony and Ivory, for Furuba (which isn't on this site, but on MediaMiner, where my name is dragongirl7978), A Game of Chess, for Cantarella. I'm thinking of publishing E&I on Fanfiction.net too, but since there's over 16,000 Furuba fanfics on this site already, it feels a little weird. Fics in Progress: Overcoming Darkness, for Cantarella. It's maybe halfway through at the moment. Trade Secrets (well, not really): I never start publishing a fic online unless I've already finished it not online. So yes, I've actually finished Overcoming Darkness, which means that I actually will finish it online. However, all good fiction requires clean-up, which takes some time, so I always take a couple days between updating so I have time to go through each chapter and make sure I'm satisfied with it. But this does mean that anytime I start publishing a fanfiction, I will finish it--promise. |
