I'm a pharmacist by day, and by night I need some creative outlet. I'm also itching to ride my bike, but that depends on the weather. I've liked Ninja Turtles since I was about 9 years old (early 1990s), sometimes more secretly, but at least since later 1990s I've been a very open TMNT fan. I used to say Raph was my fav Turtle, but now I'm more like Don, and can also relate to Leo, and know & love plenty of people like Mikey, so I really can't decide. I like the 2k3 cartoon (the "plainer" earlier seasons, not as crazy about FF or BTTS, but those are ok), the 2007 CGI movie, and "Turtles Forever" was an awesome movie (I think it needs a sequel). My earlier art and fanfics were based on the old 1990s movies and NT:TNM series. Now that I've seen the Nickelodeon cartoon, I like that one as well (for me, it gives me an idea of what the Turtles were like in their "awkward" stage). In a nutshell, I like anything w/ the Turtles in it!

As far as fav fic types, I like most of the ones I've read since before I joined (2009), whether the TMNT were chibis or slashies (guilty pleasure I have ;). I don't usually follow a lot of other's OCs, even tho I have a few of my own. (I know, I'm such a hypocrite!) I've got baby-fever in real-life, so I even get it when I see either the baby TMNT, or the TMNT with babies of their own (whether they get them thru "baby-mamas" or "mpregs", I don't care).

Just to get this disclaimer out of the way--I don't own the TMNT (Nickelodeon does, now), and I'm not rich enough to even rent them, so I borrow them. Thanks for letting me!

I also like "Alvin And The Chipmunks". I can't really decide on a favorite Chipmunk or Chipette any more than I can decide on a favorite Ninja Turtle. I'm more like Eleanor (and a little like Jeanette), but the others remind me of my family when they all hang out together. Since Chipmunks have been my latest obsession, I thought I might give some of their fan fiction a try.

Disclaimer for Chipmunks: I don't own any part of their franchise, either. Just borrowing them from Nickelodeon, Janice Karman, Ross Bagdasarian, their family, and their company.
