Hello.

At the time of writing this, I'm on fanfiction hiatus. I'm still writing original fiction, but I won't be posting it online, and nor can I see myself returning to fanfiction at any point in the future. However. Writing it has taught me a lot - both in keeping true to character, and my own failures in doing so! Being able to construct a storyline and carry it through, being able to capture the ambience of the category in a story - they're amazing things to be able to do, and I take my metaphorical hat off to those of you who can.

To the people who have read and reviewed my stories, thank you. To the people who I've met through this site, thank you. To every writer who reads this: there is no such thing as a bad idea. No-one can write your stories for you, and no-one can write the way you can. Cherish your uniqueness; it's what makes your writing so completely yours, regardless of whether you're writing original or fan fiction.

Update: 29th April, 2013

I've recently come back to this site in my spare time. I'm honestly not sure what to make of what I've written. Half of me wants to take it down for the sake of moving on with my writing style; the other half of me finds too much nostalgia to remove them. The chances are that I will start writing fanfiction again, though it will most likely be verging into a new style.

In the meantime, no matter how cheesy my statements of 2011 may be, I still stand by them. Hopefully I'll find the courage to start sharing my works online again. Whether or not I continue my unfinished works from years ago... well, we'll see. Req, out.
