Author has written 3 stories for Twilight. Profile information up-to-date as of 04/06/17. Beta-ing: In the past, I was a beta for Project Team Beta, and encountered some truly amazing stories. As an editor, the reading experience was totally different from anything I had encountered before, and I can honestly say that I found the experience to be beyond rewarding. I'd really love to get back into beta-ing regularly, so if you're looking for a beta - whether for a chapter or two, or a whole story - PM me and we can see if it would be a good fit. FanFiction Author/Story Recommendations: The Review is up and running. All reviews and recommendations for FanFics will be posted there. I'm always accepting suggestions, so if there's a story you're passionate about, let me know. As always, happy reading! Author/Book Recommendations: Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game & its sequel Speaker for the Dead - read the rest of the series if you like, but I feel the first 2 were the strongest novels) For those over 18: -Immortals After Dark Series (heavily based in mythology of all origins, includes vampires, werewolves, valkyrie - basically, you name it, this series has it) -The Arcana Chronicles (teenage Tarot cards come to life - and by the same author as the IaD series, so you can't go wrong) -Midnight Breed Series (where there are vampires, it follows that there must also be vampire hunters - these just happen to be one and the same) -Black Dagger Brotherhood Series (a very different breed of vampire) -Blood Ties Series (books and TV show - the show went off the air after its second season, but it hits all the major points in the books, and the actors were very true to the characters in the book series; the casting director did an amazing job) -Women of the Otherworld Series (werewolves are only the beginning of this supernatural roller coaster) and the TV series based on the books, Bitten (not entirely true to the books, but still worth it - Season 1 especially is worth your time and it's on Netflix, so even if you can't commit to watching it on cable once a week, you can still dip your toes in the water) -Fifty Shades of Grey Series and Grey (the one from the guy's POV) - I swear it's not what people think it is! It's kinky, sure, but not the dark, BDSM f*k-fest I'd anticipated. The best I can think to put it is that it's a story about a relationship that, like any other, runs into a lot of problems. Granted, those problems are both heavily tied to sex and unrealistic (at times - or maybe I'm just not rich enough to run into these kinds of problems?), but it's definitely interesting and worth the read. As of 03/31/2016, I am only working on The Review (see above information) with any kind of regularity. I recently edited and re-posted chapters 1-7 (although Chapter 7 is really a rework of what was previously chapters 7 and 8) of A Twist on New Moon and deleted chapters 8-22; Twist will have most of those chapters re-uploaded after I finish editing them for grammar and continuity. At this time, both Twist and Dartmouth are on hiatus. While it has taken a bit of a backseat recently, I haven't by any means abandoned my plan to compile a list of stories in Edward's POV for the whole Twilight Saga. Once I have it in chronological order and have permission from all the authors involved, I'll post it somehow in a way that makes it easy to navigate. If you have a story suggestion or want your story to be included, PM me. ~chattgirl4 |
