Author has written 5 stories for Twilight. This is more important than me or any of my thoughts (many of which are outdated) which appear below. My story and many others may unilaterally disappear soon. The core of the issue seems to be there is no real difference between the T and the M ratings. First and foremost if FF is a place *only* for younger readers they should say so but secondly I'd like to encourage everyone to sign a petition. Just Google /petitions/fanfiction-net-stop-the-destruction-of-fanfiction-net# ME OK I am am not big on giving any sort of long personal details about myself. I live in Kentucky and speak like a Kentuckian. That and me being five foot even is all the details you get. I Love the the Vampire Academy series (except the piece of s-hit filler book Blood Promise , which so obviously reflects the series being contracted for six books instead of four, Robert Jordan's spirit lives with greedy publishers everywhere) and like both the Twilight series and the House of Night series very much. I also have two cats. House of Night I will admit I am beginning to think both Zoey and Heath (Though at this point it appears Heath is a rather moot point) are morons. If I were put in either ones' position I would not put up with the others idiotic actions for one second. Is it just me or does anyone else think the Cast's went stark raving mad writing "Tempted"? In one book they managed to ruin one of the two likable main characters (I see Zoey, Aphrodite and Stevie Rae as the main ones and actually liked Aphrodite and Stevie Rae), have the heroine express love for one of the most insidious persons I've ever read about in fiction. (Hello am I the only one one who realizes Kalona repeatedly entered the dreams of high school girls to perform what amounts to statutory rape?). The only things I liked about it AT ALL was Zoey growing a pair (Not literally) and dealing with Erik. I enjoyed Heath's fate, I was thoroughly sick of Heath's utter thickness, a date with him would have been a date with density. I also could not have been the only person who realized Heath's oft repeated "I've loved you since third grade" was no justification at all for repeatedly stalking Zoey, demanding her love and in general being a jerk. Add into that the Cast's hook and ladder adoption of Meyer's multiple points of view from BD, tragic, just tragic. My Story Evening Star I am working on my own fan fic, Evening Star. It's an M rated Alice/Bella pairing along with a big dose of wondering how Nessie ends up. I try and address that sort of thing, have a lot of fun and tell a good adventure, romance and all the loving that goes along with it in my little story Evening Star is now complete...which leads to Morningstar Leah has been kidnapped by an ages old supremely powerful vampire, despite complications, Alice and Bella must rescue her for Nessie's sake Future Seen Darkly I'm not sure how to approach telling about this story. It's intensely personal yet obviously has nothing to do with me. I incorporated Black-Rose-of-Night's Midnight into it in a way I don't think anyone else would have, but I can't be sure. I suspect BRON thought I was just a fangirl when I asked her if I could, but she realizes now that's not the case. Our stories are now inextricably linked by Midnight and that's fine by me, we've become friends of a sort, and while I think both stories are very good, I also think, despite surface similarities, they are very different. This is the best story I've written here, and that's pretty good since Evening Star was no slouch, and it's special to me. It's going to be very hard when I reach the end I envision to let it go. Angels and Thorns I've always been fascinated by the possibility of a Rosalie/Bella pairing and eventually I'll finish this. It's just Future Seen Darkly took me over wholly when I started it. This will have to wait. Negative Reviews I've seen some writers ask for no negative reviews, I suppose having your ego preened is fun but if a negative reviewer is honest you can learn more from that than ten "That's Great" type reviews. Edward & Jacob, Twins in evil or ass-holes? I liked The Meyers books in spite of both Edward and Jacob, both were arrogant, unbelievably controlling,( i.e. the many orders Edward gave both Bella and his family, or Jacob's classicily offensive statement "Like I could let you leave" after speaking to Charlie in BD) abusive and managed the nearly impossible task of making vampires and werewolves boring in their cases.. Beta Reader Little-sunandstars beta reads for me, she's the best. Partial lyrics from a song I wrote (With apologies to TS Eliot and Prufrock) We could work all day when the hot summer comes play at romance, but I'm all thumbs I've run out of chemical devices How can I force the moment to it's crisis (I've never understood how anyone could hear that and not realize the song was about drugs, an intimate friend of mine did when I wrote it at 14) My Family, Sheep are nervous around the menfolk I'll finish with something my (much) older brother likes to say, I'm not certain what it means but it amuses me anyway.
