Shift key-kun loves you. He really, really does. When you press him down into the bed keyboard it makes him happy. When you don't use him it makes him deeply, truly unhappy. In fact, it makes him feel unloved. When you only use him to make smiley faces? It makes feel even more unloved, because no matter how cool you think smiles are, they are not his intended purpose. When you only use him to TYPE LIKE THIS? It makes him feel even more unloved, because not only is TEXT LIKE THIS really, truly ugly, but there is another key that invented for just that purpose! Ladies and gents, meet CAPS LOCK!

In conclusion, the only way to make Shift key-kun, really, truly happy is to press him into the bed keyboard like the good little ho key he is.
