Author has written 34 stories for Gakuen Alice. I suppose that it is finally time for me tie up the loose ends. I may even be corny enough to venture to say that it is time to make my heartbroken confession. For three years now, I have been deluding myself into believing that I would soon return to FFN. That I would return to FFN to finish up my stories and that I would find everything left unchanged. But it has been three years. Three, bloody, flipping years. I was so young before that I could not fathom how much life changed with time. This continual progression of events unfolding, constantly changing the world and the people within it. In these few years, I have grown in so many ways. I have laughed and I have cried. I have trusted and I have been betrayed. I have fallen head over heels and had my heart smashed and broken, then did it all all over again. I no longer live in a world of innocent, idealistic fantasies of unbreakable friendship and incorruptible love. I have experienced too much. As much as I have loved writing, tying threads together and waltzing with words, and creating my own worlds, it is time to move on. For real this time. The whole world is waiting out there and time has so much to offer. While I wish I had some eloquent, profound parting words about how I will go on to do great things and inspire you to do the same, my readers should know that I am not the articulate type, nor am I one to keep her promises, unfortunately. All I can say is thank you. The over half-decade I have spent as an author of GAFFN has been a wonderful experience that I will never forget. I have met lovely fans, been graced by stellar authors, made lifelong friends, and grown as a writer. I can only hope that some way, somehow, I have influenced you in the same way you have all changed me. If your days ever get dark and lonely, I hope you can think of crazy little Heartbroken Confession and her twisted, daft little tales and smile a little. Farewell, and thank you.
