Sorry to be boring but again all I can think to say is interesting- I do like the idea of Sasuke just randomly returning suddenly and actually being grateful to Sai. And I’m an idiot, did a google search after my last review and realised of course I know the hallelujah song - I just never heard the verses... thanks for opening my eyes (ears)!

your notes at the end almost healed the broken parts of my heart. almost, because this is so poignant and I fall in love with it even more every time I reread it.

Why did I not read this eleven years ago. I can't exactly put my thoughts into words, but here goes. I wish something like this happened in the anime. That bittersweet feeling of finality. Of them (Team 7) being together again, and how it's perceived by an outsider. Sai, who eventually became a part of their circle, and who has been with them in their struggles, deserves the success too. But that's what these fics are for, and I'm grateful you wrote this.

This was written almost ten years ago, but it's so beautiful I'm going to write a review anyway.
It was breathtaking. I'm crying and I don't have words to explain how my chest aches with all the beauty and the hurt and the love this fic makes me feel. I'm just going to read this over and over again and forget everything else (specially the horrible ending).
"Sasuke in death and Sakura in life and Naruto in the living", that whole paragraph was particularly sad and sweet and beautiful and amazing, it had me crying so much it's completely embarrassing. And the note in the photograph just killed me in the spot, and that ending. I was done, completely done with how beautiful this is, and it should have been like this. They deserved that.
