after all these years, i still find myself going back to this fic–because this reminds me of why i loved sasusaku in the first place.

how do you write stuff like this? do you read a lot of books? know a lot about romance? what about shōjo mangas, do you read a lot of them? this, is really some great finds, i swear. the plot, and the characters of naruto really makes one contemplate about the meaning of life, death, and honor. i really like the part where it was centered to sasuke, and his life of what might have been. rereading this is just too much to me. i’m still speechless. you are an amazing writer.

This is the kind of writing that touches you in the heart. I can only say wow. Kudos to you!

I still come back to this fic a few times a year, because even though I've moved on from this series and fandom and mostly even these characters, your writing still has the ability to make me remember why I loved them as fiercely as I did. You've sketched out such a brilliantly detailed mythology for the Uchiha (the small clan-memories, the courtship rituals, even the linguistic idiosyncrasies), and painted such a lovely portrayal of Sasuke, and Sasuke-and-Sakura, that I can't help but be dragged back all over again. I can't believe I've never reviewed this fic (at least not signed in?), and I can't believe the fandom slept on such a gem. Thank you so much for all the writing that you've shared with us over the years, and I hope that whatever you may be doing now, that you're happy and well!

I'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews! What a gem! Keep up the good work. The writing style is very thought provoking and I love the small details, the personal bits that reconnect the reader to the fact that, yeah, this is a person. Especially with Sasuke, people forget that he was a kid. He isn't easy to write in my opinion so good job!
