A Little About Me --

I wrote my first book (complete with illustrations) in second grade. It was about a magical unicorn who'd lost her rainbow. I'm pretty sure my mom still has it somewhere. Since then, I've written more Sailor Moon fanfiction than I'd like to admit, spent twelve years sure I was going to be a paleontologist only to change my mind at the last possible second, dabbled in poetry (too much work) and graphic novels (also too much work), and decided that I never, ever want to stop writing about sparkly, magical, fluffy things.

One of my biggest dreams is to see my book -- a real, actual book -- in a stranger's hands, being read in Target or on the bus or something like that. Maybe one day.

Right now, I spend way too much time snuggling with my teddy bear of a pit bull and trying vainly to win over my jerk of a cat while surrounding myself with nerdy goodness, like Doctor Who, Mythbusters, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and more. I usually check out about half a dozen books from the library every week. I do boring adult things like pay bills, cook (ie, burn) dinner, and try not to admit that I still play Dance Dance Revolution.

10 is my Doctor. Han shot first. Firefly deserves seven seasons and two movies. And the Katamari Damacy is a perfectly reasonable soundtrack to listen to at work.
