Author has written 10 stories for Code Geass, and Criminal Minds. UPDATED 3/21/12: This isn't my first account and I had a link to it on here before but the links are broken (at least for me). Originally this account was to favorite more stories because I thought I couldn't favorite more than 100 (silly me, as I learned a long time ago, I actually could). Then I got into Criminal Minds not that long ago and turned this unused/obslete account into one that published my CM obsessed stories (that I hardly ever finish) because I like to try and keep my fanfictions from other sections/fans separate for insert selfish, private reasons here. Also please note, this isn't my first change I've made to this account's profile and most likely won't be the last (because I HATE long profiles. I hate having to scroll down for so long just to see someone's stories/favorites and that includes my own). I also would like to say that I am a huge, huge Aaron Hotchner fan and an even hugER Thomas Gibson fan but I'm not willing to change my pen to something along that line. I am not too big of a Spencer Reid/Matthew Gray Gubler fan or Derek Morgan. You can also assume I'm not too keen on that pairing either. I support both slash/gay pairings and straight pairings. I do not care if the actors in real life are not gay. That does not affect their characters no matter what people say in the world of fanfiction because the same thing can be said for the straight pairings that are not supported by the series/actors/writers, i.e Garcia/Morgan, Hotchner/Prentiss (I'm sorry to all of you supporters but everyone knows that will not happen in the series, hence why we have fanfiction), J.J/Reid. I will say I support Hotchner with anyone (within reason anyway) because he is my favorite character and he's been hit pretty hard these past seasons and deserves to have someone support him outside of the BAU family (like Beth). Unfortunately, also from that line of reasoning alone, he seems the most likely to be alone, letting the job consume him. How can someone like him ever trust himself to love someone again so long as he continues the job he does? From that, I can see why people were more than upset with the episode "The Bittersweet Science" where he met Beth but I hate to admit, I have a pretty strong feeling people only felt that Hotch was out of character in that episode was because he met a new potential love interest and that interest wasn't Emily Prentiss and that thought alone only makes me (more) annoyed with the majority of the fans that watch Criminal Minds. After watching all seven seasons of Criminal Minds, I have come to a sad conclusion that the fans of the show consists of (mostly smart people, which isn't the sad part, ranging from ages 12 - 60, maybe older) fangirls that squeal out for Dr. Spencer Reid (P.S I love writing the 'Dr.' in front of his name) and that large base of squealing fangirls (normally around ages 12 - actually there is no range in age but it probably starts at 12, God, do I hope it starts there) consists of Morgan/Reid shippers which inevitably leads me to another rant which will probably annoy a lot of people that read my profile. I don't support Morgan/Reid really. I see them as brothers. I don't understand why people do support them together romantically because I feel that out of the whole BAU family, Morgan seems the least likely of the four men to be gay. After watching the first season, sure, maybe I can imagine it happening. But then season 2, episode 12 ("Profiler, Profiled") happened and everything about the two of them getting together secretly shot out of my head. I won't say anything further except I do not support Morgan/Reid romance. While I'm still thinking about Criminal Minds fanfiction pairings, I'd like to keep the "Weirdest Pairings I've Found on Fanfiction and Wondering What the Hell People Are Thinking" (it wasn't really called that but I like the title) from the last update so here it is: Haley Hotchner/Anyone besides Aaron Hotchner - I still don't think anyone has thought of pairing Haley up with someone else but I haven't looked and refuse to look. It's wrong in every sense of the word. Sean Hotchner/Anyone - As I said before, I love Sean Hotchner but I cannot imagine him with anyone on the team/show/or some writer's OC. I hate it when a fanfiction writer brings up some excuse to pair him up with someone on the team. It's been written in that no one knew him until he arrived at the BAU looking for his brother in the episode "The Tribe". There are actually some Reid/Sean stories out there where they are involved romantically and I hate them and nothing is ever going to make me have a change of heart. Jason Gideon/Anyone besides Sarah - He's too much of a broken man to have someone else after Sarah died. I can't see him with Hotch even before the BAU was formed or with Rossi. I definitely cannot see him with Reid no matter how much someone tries to tell me otherwise. Maybe it's because in all of the stories I've read about him on this site, he's been made as an UNSUB, as a monster, as a murderer, as a psycho, delusional, rapist, betraying the team in ways that seem completely out of character with a weak excuse that something bad happened in the many years he's been on the road and no one's heard of him ever again just because of his abrupt departure where he left a note from Reid. I think all these stories out here are made in childish vengeance from Reid's fangirls thinking he deserves the worst in the realm of fanfictions because his leaving the BAU/show made Reid sad. Strauss/Anyone - Like Hotch, she's too serious of a woman to find a relationship, let alone in the BAU. Although she does have a son so I assume she does have a husband. I can't remember if the writers put in if her husband was alive or not but if he is, let's leave it at that. Foyet/Anyone - You guys are real funny with this one. Foyet with someone...ha! Good one. Seriously though, can you imagine a narcissist like him in a relationship? He's obviously no romantic. Keep dreaming with that. I saw some Reid/Foyet ones out there. They made me shudder in the not so good way. It's horrible. He comes off as completely OOC, it's almost downright hilarious. Now here's the real killer: Reid/Map: HAHAHA! WHAT!? Only if these are parodies, maybe...and not rated "M". I can't think of any more to say without well, picturing something horrifying, in my head. I still can't believe Map is even on the character filter. What's next? Chair? Bed? Whiteboard? Why isn't Sergio or Mudgie on there yet for that matter?? I might have left a few things off but oh well. I'm sure if you are able to make it down here, you're really annoyed of my rant or you're like me and get fed up of Criminal Minds fans just as easily as I do or you didn't actually read and just skimmed through everything. I don't care if you read or not. I'm just glad I get to get all of these things out of my head before I explode. I find that a lot of things can easily annoy me, especially if I stare at it/think about it too much (like Stephen King's endings). Also, I'm easily side-tracked. After writing down my pairing rant, I just realized I was talking about something else before it and haven't finished my train of thought yet. I'll fix that now. The other fanbase that annoys the hell out of me: The Hotch/Prentiss Shippers. They can rival the Reid fans out there. You see, I watch most Criminal Minds episodes online (75%, the other 15% is on TV, the 10% on DVDs) where after/during watching the episode, I scroll down to look at the comments. Most consists of Reid and how "pretty" he is (you know what? I don't remember ever reading a comment that says he's "handsome", only "cute" or even "hot") and though it annoys me to death, the other comments about "Prentiss and Hotch should definitely get together" or "Hotch should ditch Beth already" or even (seriously) "I hope Beth becomes an UNSUB" annoys the living censored out of me just as much. OK, I'll admit, I do ship them and for a while I used to think that too, maybe even secretly hoped. But it kind of stopped (full on stopped) when people wished Beth would turn into a serial killer or some other sort of crazy. There should be a rule on opinions where if someone writes that one thing, no one should be able to repeat it all over the pages of that site on that particular video and maybe have it hidden deep within the pages of other opinions so I don't have to see it. I know, it's partly my fault for scrolling down to read the comments. It's a bad habit that I don't think I'll ever be able to break. So I've complained about fanfiction pairings and the fanbase, I guess that leaves the fanfiction stories. Here are some fanfiction ideas that I cannot, for the life of me, stand: Reid-Being-Kidnapped: It's been done again and again and again and again. If you really are that obsessed with Reid being kidnapped by an UNSUB, re-watch Criminal Minds, especially seasons 1 and 2, or...you can read half the stories on fanfiction. I'm not sure what the attraction is here to him being kidnapped by some delusional psycho murderer that rapes little boys or...changes MO and targets Reid out of the blue. Wow. You'd think with more than 50% of the fanfictions that have kidnappings (of Reid or OC and Reid or someone on the team and Reid) people would figure by now people will get tired of seeing fanfictions that deal with Reid-nappings. Reid-Being-Bullied: By someone in the BAU, or the team, or by some psycho-made-up-boyfriend that Reid can somehow hide from a group of INTELLIGENT profilers (he couldn't hide drugs from Hotch and Gideon, what makes you think he can hide an abusive relationship? Sometimes I think people forget Reid isn't the only person that's smart. He's just the only genius with an eidetic memory.). I'm tired of seeing stories where Gideon abuses him, where Rossi abuses him, where Hotch abuses him. Not only do the authors of those stories make them completely out of character (and yes they are out of character unless you are a writer of CM which I am 99% sure no one on here is), but the entire idea is just completely absurd. Gideon-Becoming-An-Unsub: I cannot see this happening because at least he never shot anyone in cold blood. I feel that he is the type to commit suicide before he turns to murder. I remember watching the first episode of Criminal Minds season 1 where they introduced the team, thinking, 'He lost an entire team to a terrorist and he hasn't completely given up yet, that's both tragic and cool'. If losing an entire team of FBI agents due to a choice he made, then losing the woman he loved due to a psychopath only made him give up on the BAU to persue a happier path in life...well, how can anyone see him turning into an unsub? People thinking he'd go crazy don't give him that much credit. He's no Elle. He didn't shoot someone because he suspected him of murder and then turned in his badge and gun and resigned from the BAU. Elle would make more sense to come back as an UNSUB, not Gideon. Sorry to people who hate him (I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people out there that only hate him because he left the BAU, in turn leaving Reid, in turn making Reid sad). Hotch-Cheating-On-Someone/Being-Blamed-By-Team-For-No-Good-Reason: Obviously there are bound to be some Hotch haters out there since the episodes "Profiler, Profiled" and "L.D.S.K", and then the follow-up episodes to "Lauren". Hotch is one of those extremely complex characters that I admire. He's not a genius but he's incredibly smart, maybe the second smartest on the team and people have yet to realize that. I've come to this conclusion when I watched "Revelations" in which Reid gets kidnapped by a man named Tobias Hankel whom was haunted by his father and Reid "chooses" Hotch to die. He gives the team some quote from the bible, knowing only Hotch could figure it out and Hotch quickly does. Hotch may not have an IQ of 187 or an eidetic memory, but he is pretty smart without those. There have also been a few moments in Criminal Minds where he has a "Reid-moment" and relays information Garcia didn't know. There was also a time where he admitted he was a bit of a nerd when he was a kid to Elle. He may also not be that emotional, but he does show it. Unfortunately, Hotch's character isn't one where you can quickly figure out in one or two episodes like with the rest of the team which I guess is why not many people like to try to write about him. I can never imagine Hotch cheating on anyone. Haley left him, end of story. There are probably more stories I hate but my hands are getting tired so I'll just wrap things up now. I'd definitely like to see more stories that feature David Rossi as main character, Jason Gideon (without Reid as a pairing/main character filter however), Aaron Hotchner, Sean Hotchner too maybe, and Case fictions, definitely more case fictions. There's way too many romantic stories out there. Wouldn't it also be cool to see a story with Aaron Hotchner partnered with Black Wolfe from "The Tribe"? I remembered reading a comment that said it'd make for a funny little spinoff. Hotch's "You sound like a fortune cookie" still gets me every time. And good grief I had to scroll down a lot. I hate my profile. |
