![]() Author has written 3 stories for Fablehaven, X-Men, and Avengers. If you are reading this, you have survived the Snap. Congratulations. Some things about me: -I love anything from the MCU (with a few exceptions) -I would rather fight Ebony Maw than have to face another day with writer's block right now -I'm planning to write fanfics for My Little Pony, Avengers, and maybe X-Men -I like to write fantasy/sci-fi -I like gory bloodbath type scenes -I also have a YouTube channel, also called Thana Skysor, where I make art and do crafts and stuff I probably won't be posting anytime soon because I'm working on publishing my own novel (original), it's called Eternity War. I can't post it here but I might give updates on my progress every now and then. In case you're wondering, here's a summary: A shadow is spreading across the galaxy in the form of the First Empire, the first empire in the universe, and even though they bring peace to every planet they reach they kill too many innocent people in the process. They are searching for the prize of the century- Terrigen Crystals, which can destroy entire solar systems at a time. Why? Because another group, the Second Order, is opposing them. The crystals could be their key to decimating the Second Order forever. I still have to work out the last bit. But when the Eternity War comes, you'll be the first to know! Eternity War update 1 I've started over more than a couple of times, but I don't want to give up. Probably won't be writing fanfics for a looooong while. I've changed a couple of things. My main character, Reyven, is Thanos's granddaughter and she is trying to escape his legacy. Meanwhile, Ebony Maw's grandson, commander of the First Empire, is all about continuing the Black Order's legacy. Writing is slow, I don't know how long it will take. I'm having fun all the way. There's going to be a big fat rabbit coming soon. Hopefully. Since Eternity War is kind of fanfiction, I might be putting some of it up under Avengers fanfiction archive if I get a chance. Also, I really really hate erotic novels and anything to do with porn. It's gross. I said I like gory scenes but not erotic scenes. Yuck. No paedophiles allowed. ETERNITY WAR UPDATE 2 This is a hack I've discovered- if you're writing and feel like you're stuck, do ctrl-A and change the font of your whole document. It'll feel like you're working on a completely new story. ETERNITY WAR UPDATE 3 It's been a long time. I can't keep posting updates on here because it's getting a little too messy, so I've decided to start a blog dedicated to my experience writing Eternity War! It's coming soon, I'll post the URL/link here when it's up and ready. Now on to the actual update. Writing's really slow (I've said this before) but now I mean it. I've dropped to negative one words per day (sarcastic laugh) and I don't know when I can get it back up to normal because putting words down on the screen has become a huge drag. I know I've been complaining a lot so far but if you're writing a book and find yourself in a similar situation, know that even if you're procrastinating your subconscious is working things out for you. I've finally done a scene with the giant rabbit. His name is Cable (just sounds cool). Want to know what he looks like? Just imagine a combination of Baymax and Bugs Bunny. I'll be posting daily from now on, so expect new updates! If you're working on a book, don't stop! ETERNITY WAR UPDATE 4 I actually haven't been doing anything today but I'm posting now because a promise is a promise. Usually I write on Google Docs but since it's so hard to get rid of wifi, I am constantly getting distracted. It's like I'm addicted to and read comic online (a site where they have a bunch of comics you can read for free). I'm thinking about getting a notebook and writing my story there, but there's something about handwriting that is just unappealing. Ever since I've started going on a bunch of other blogs to get writing advice, I've become so insecure about my own writing abilities because I'm making every single amateur mistake in the book. So now it feels like I have to stress out about word choice and show don't tell and all these other things. I just want to get the story down without having to worry if it's too bad to be published! So I guess what I've learned is: don't look up writing advice. Just get the story down and enjoy the confidence that comes with being a new writer. And when you finish your story? THEN get all the advice and feedback you can, because the story is what matters. You should be able to have fun writing it down instead of stressing out because once you finish your story, you can edit all you like. That being said, I really want to continue the story of Eternity War. But I feel like I hardly know my characters. I guess that I should just do interviews with them. Yes, I guess that's what I'll do right now. Meet... X21-032! She is a soldier who is working for an empire in the distant future. Did I mention that the empire is run by a President who just might be evil? X21-032 has just begun to suspect after she kills an innocent child on one of the missions. And she's not quite sure her peers have her back. So she does the next best thing- run away. Me: First question, why did you kill that girl? X: They told us to kill the villagers. The girl ran at me first, and then I just... fired. Like we'd been trained to do. But then I thought, maybe she didn't know what she was going into, maybe she was just playing. Me: Did you kill anybody else? X: There was another kid. I didn't want to shoot someone again, so I just let her leave. I couldn't have been noticed, but I was. Me: How do you feel about killing people? X: Nobody should have to kill anyone else. I wouldn't wish death or harm on anybody. I can't be a soldier. I can't do what they ask of me. Me: Why don't you want to kill people? X: I don't think I have the right to decide who gets to die. I just want to be myself. Me: Is that why you ran away? X: Yes. The dead bodies, they're disgusting. I don't want to see a dead body, I don't want to have to make dead bodies! I just want to leave them alone! Me: Do you feel any guilt? X: I try not to think about what they'll do to my squadron. Me: Let's change the subject. What do you think about your physical appearance? X: Same as anyone, I guess. I look fine. That's it for the interview, I may be putting up a part 2 later. Still working on getting myself a proper website. Does anyone visit here? I don't think so. Just know if you've gotten this far, if you're reading this, you are doing so under impossible odds. My profile has only two stories under it, so it's a one in a million chance that you'll stumble upon this profile, and one in a billion that you'll actually check it out. But thank you. You have my gratitude and my admiration for inspiring me with the knowledge that you're somewhere out there. I hope this is inspiring and I don't come across as some weirdo complaining about stuff. HOW'S THIS FOR LONGEST POST SO FAR?!? ETERNITY WAR UPDATE 5 Still haven't started working on Eternity War. Right now it's a scary mess. That's all. Sorry. Stay true believers, true believers!! |
