A/N: Okay, I'm new here. This isn't my first story or drabble collection, idk what this is, but it is my first one published on here, so constructive criticism is welcomed. If this fandom is even still alive in 2020. I recently discovered this fandom and I got pretty inspired by a lot of work here on this site, so I thought I would try to write some stories myself. Leave a message in the comments and I'll try to post more fics in the future.

This is a Todd/Kurt fic, no warnings for this chapter

I'm not a native English speaker so sorry if I got some phrasing messed up.

Word count of the actual story is 420 (cuz I'm that st*ner)

Well, onto the story. I hope you enjoy.

Spots

"You've got another one."

"Another what?" Todd tossed his shirt next to where his shoes and socks laid on the docks of the lake he and Kurt were, a few miles in the woods next to Bayville.

"Another spot. On your back, right beneath your shoulder." Kurt pointed out, looking at the spots that were beginning to litter across his boyfriend's back, arms and neck.

"Yeah, I got another one on my arm, yo." Todd said back as he looked at his lower arm, where only a few of the spots were located. Some were smaller than others, like moles, but bigger. They were only a few shades darker than his own pale-green skin tone, but dark enough to stand out. A few were darker than others. "Next are what? Stripes? Or triangles?" He joked bitterly.

Kurt snorted softly at that. He rose to his feet and made his way over to Todd, who spoke up again.

"It's getting worse, too, yo. I can't keep covering them all up, some are in my neck, too." He spoke in an agitated voice, still glaring at his arm, as if staring long enough at the damn spots it would make them just disappear.

Kurt stepped closer to Todd now, who let out a frustrated sigh. He began to slowly rub his hands on his boyfriend's bare back. His fingers grazed over some of the spots near Todd's shoulders and neck. The larger ones there were courser than Todd's actual skin, and slightly raised.

The blue mutant didn't hesitate and planted a soft kiss on one of the larger spots at the base of Todd's neck and wrapped his arms around him. He felt Todd stiffen instantly at that.

"I'll still love you, spots and all." Kurt said softly in Todd's ear.

It took the frog-like mutant a few moments to recover from that. He swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat before taking a few slow breaths.

Todd stared at the lake in front of him for a second longer before turning around and wrapping his arms around Kurt, tightening the embrace the two shared.

The two stayed like that for what felt like minutes before finally releasing one another again.

"So, are we gonna swim or what, yo?" Todd asked, sporting a grin on his face.

Kurt smiled back at him and snickered.

"The last one in the water is gonna pay for dinner!" Todd yelled as he quickly stripped out of his jeans and backflipped into the water.
