![]() Author has written 15 stories for Ginger Snaps, Nightmare Before Christmas, Saw, Corpse Bride, X-overs, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. Hello, people! Yes, I'm still here, but I've been so busy, there's been no time for writing! I'll work on my stories when I can, I promise! What can I say? I'm 26, and a good ol' Vermont gal (I am not a "Vermonter", despite what people say) and refuse to admit I'm a blonde (I can't stand dumb blondes and I don't like those dumb blonde jokes). My hair is light brown, not blonde! When it comes to grammar, I'm like Aunt Josephine (You fans of the Lemony Snicket books know what I mean). I admit to being a little wierd, considering I'm obsessed with movies like Saw (I love the storyline of the first Saw, and I love how ingenious the traps used on all 4 movies are. Leigh Whannell and James Wan are geniuses) and Tim Burton's films. I tend to live in my own fantasy world. Real life sucks, but, hey, we hafta deal with it. If you haven't already guessed, Tim Burton is one of my many idols. (My mom and Joan of Arc are the first on my list) The Nightmare Before Christmas is my all-time favorite movie, and I've been a freak for it since I was seven years old. While I love horror and macabre movies, I'm also a sucker for love stories, so a lot of my fanfics include couples or potential couples or fan favorite pairings. I love reading slash and femslash (depending on the couple), but I suck at writing it. Some people may think that gay/lesbian pairings are gross and/or wrong, but I think they're sweeter than hetero couples Favorite couples/pairings (in no particular order): 1) Tara and Willow (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) (Sweetest lesbian couple on TV) 2) Lawrence and Adam (Saw) (They shared fear, blood, sweat, and tears. What more can I say?) 3) Jack and Ennis (Brokeback Mountain) (What passion these two share) 4) Harry and Ginny (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince/Deathly Hallows) (They're made for each other) 5) Jack and Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas) (Macabre love rocks) 6) Brigitte and Sam (Ginger Snaps) (Opposites attract) 7) Victor and Victoria (Corpse Bride) (Tim Burton's second-best pairing) 8) Belle and Beast (Beauty and the Beast) (I cried when he died in her arms) 9) Ariel and Eric (The Little Mermaid) (The best "Disney Princess" couple) 10) Ross and Rachel (Friends) (Anyone else cheer when they got back together during the finale?) Favorite actors/actresses include: Jim Carrey, Kris Lemche, Leigh Whannell, Cary Elwes, Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Michelle Gellar... I'm a book freak too: I love the Lemony Snicket seriesThe Harry Potter series, The Giver ... Fics currently in the works (names VERY pending): Turanga Leela - a "Futurama" story Plot: Leela discovers secrets about her parents. The Children of Hogwarts - Of course, a "Harry Potter" fic. Plot: Secrets come out when the Weasleys and the Potters get together for Christmas. Mourning - a "Saw" fic Plot: Adam is rescued from the Bathroom, only to discover that Lawrence has died. Sometimes the Past Comes Back - A "Saw" fic (my first that has nothing to do with the Adam/Lawrence pairing). Plot: The daughter Lawrence never knew about discovers the truth behind her father's death. The Treacherous Trap - A "Saw" fic Plot: The first "Saw", as told by Lemonette Snicket (In other words, "Saw" told in Lemony Snicket fashion) Joan of Arc: Emile's Story - A fic based on the 1999 TV miniseries "Joan of Arc" Plot: The birth, brief life, and sudden death of Joan Darc's blind best friend, Emile. (This one's already done, but I can't post it, because the movie's a semi-biography, and the site wants strictly fiction. Anyway, if you want to read it, message me. Kris Lemche fans and those who remember his teeny little role as Emile might want to read this) Enjoy, everyone! And, of course, I've got many already on the site that need to be finished. They only go unfinished because I lose heart when no one reads them! How can I know if people are reading them if they don't review them! Just so you know, I don't give flames, and hate receiving them. Constructive criticism is fine, but flames hurt, people! Note: I have not given up on my fics. I just haven't had time work on them, being a full-time student once again. Also, I only have access to a floppy disk drive once a week now (the school computers don't have them, and fanfiction.net has been blocked from the computer), but I promise to update them more. I like cheese. I have seen purple cows. If two gooses are geese, why aren't two mooses meese, or if two foots are feet, why arn't two footballs feetball? I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried out daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support to turn to because I am male. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died because the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual. I am the person who always feel guilty because I think I could be a much better person if i didn't have to always deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love. Repost this if you think homophobia is wrong. |
