Okay, let's see... I'm now self employed as a horse dealer, leaving me lots of time for writing. Which is good. And I'm hoping to study part-time for a history degree shortly. Which isn't.

I'm now very rarely to be found writing fanfic, although a good Torchwood episode can still drag me out from pages of original work and maps of countries that only exist because the plot bunnies say they do. Fantasy and sc-fi are my main loves, although I can write humour and romance if I try.

Favourite characters - well, Mickey Webb and Jack Meadows from the Bill and the complexity of their relationship. The 10th Doctor, Rose (yes, she has my name!), Jack - he's the most fascinating man to write about. Roland, Steve King's 'Gunslinger' who quested for the Dark Tower and F'lar with his gret bronze dragon. Mulder - I never made my mind up about him, he's frustrating as I can never get the accent right.

I have got another account, where I hide adult and severe angst stories away from my younger brothers. I'll tell anyone intrested what it is in an e-mail. I do read all my reviews, but if it's a flame you'll just get ignored. Criticism, yes, I'll take it all on board, and I'll try to review yours in return.

Apart from that, I'm 21, living in Cornwall, spent the summer travelling with my horse and my new year's resolution is to send my WW2 fantasy novel off to agents - I'm kinda convinced they'll bite. Free time, I'm keen on riding, photography and sign most of my free time away by coaching at the local football club. I'm a member of Truro Writers and would advise anyone serious about their work to join a group; it's brilliant,

Me and a friend, Mel are working together on a fantasy novel, in the novel section at the moment only its on her username (MelG). It involves Gods, a werewolf cult, a crazy priest and saving the world. She's also the equal co-writer for our famed 'A-Zs of Middle - Earth,'and the one person who keeps me marginally in the land of the sane. Read her work.

New Year's Eve - Resolutions for some writers out there. I'm not perfect, I know, but there's a few things I've been seeing more of lately and this seemed like a good time to rant.

1. Abbreviations in summary / story - Unless it's in a letter, text etc, there is no need. It's lazy and wil make me think you're about 11.

2. PWP - Yes, there's a place for sex in stories. It shuldn't just be the story though.

3, Posting fics on other sites without asking me. Link by all means, but if you're taking my work, my God, I want to know where it's going. And no, I won't bite. In fact, I'll probably send you cookies and much love or wanting my work.

And 4. This is for myself. Rose Tyler is not marrying 10. So I can quit writing / reading it and get on with something about Martha before Donna comes back.
